    Views for days, rolling hills and babbling brooks. It’s easy to picture, right? Luckily for us this is all on our doorstep at Mr C’s parent’s farm just up the road from our own humble abode. Most weekend’s tend to be spent playing with kittens, running around after chickens and walking our dog alongside the beck that runs through the farm estate. Could there be any dreamier day? So what really constitutes a perfect Sunday? After all, a weekend well spent, brings a week of content…

    I really do love being outdoors and getting out and about to stretch the ol’ legs. We started taking our dog on walks that are a little bit further afield than on our doorstep. It means we get to see scenery that we don’t normally see on our usual routes, all the while we get some fresh air and our little doggo gets to have a whale of a time in the process. It is so nice to explore our beloved Yorkshire in depth this way.     I am Yorkshire, through and through. This place makes my heart sing. With gorgeous scenery from the Dales to the Moors, with vibrant, cosmopolitan cities such as Leeds & York. Even the lesser known beauties such as Ilkey Moor, Wakefield Sculpture Park and more. There is without a doubt something to tickle everyone’s fancy. Growing up we spent a lot of time in our caravan in a little place called, Sowerby which is just up the road from Bridlington. We’d spend days heading to Whitby, Filey and Flamborough Head and getting ice-cream drunk and eating fresh fish & chips. The simplicity of it all is exactly what I love about holidaying here in the UK!

    We agreed a time and a place to meet. I was pretty nervous as it was my first time, I wasn’t sure about him. I think he’d done it plenty of times before. When we met he made me feel pretty comfortable and it made everything seem so much easier. As we found a spot, somewhere pretty secluded just on the outskirts of the city centre, he took of his bag and pulled out his impressive piece of camera equipment…
