Travel is fun, invigorating and exciting. But it can also be bloody stressful too. With deciding which of your ten pairs of shoes you need to throw out of the packing mix to locating passports before you set off to the airport, we all wish travelling could be a little more stress-free. As some of you might know, I FREAKING LOVE HOLIDAYS AND TRAVELLING, it’s no secret that I am happiest when I have a trip planned. At the moment I don’t & it’s killing me a little bit inside. We can’t decide where we want to go or what the budget will allow, so it’s slowing my processes down, and I need to remind myself why I need to book a holiday. So whilst yes, this post is for my readers – it’s also a post for me too.

Waking up in the rather large, cosy, king sized bed at the Mercure Oxford Eastgate Hotel was a type of morning I’d like to repeat. Every weekend. But sadly I can’t. My bank balance probably wouldn’t thank me and there’s a small issue of who would look after the dog. So when we do get to enjoy, boy am I going to saviour it. Probably one of the snuggliest beds I’ve ever had the pleasure to stay in, my night sleep was perfect. With a quick cup of tea before heading down for breakfast, it meant I could revel in for an extra 15 minutes longer.
New Years Resolutions. You either love them, or you hate them. Some of you believe this is the time to create a new you, others couldn’t give two hoots. But how about if you could incorporate some of the things you want to do or change with your travel plans. They do say “that travel is the only thing you buy, that makes you richer” and if that’s anything to go by, I’m definitely up for that.
