Nothing quite beats slipping into a bikini, jumping into a hot tub with a glass of bubbles and then having a massage or a facial. It’s one of the ultimate ways to relax and unwind.     Who would have thought that hidden upstairs, inside one of Scarborough’s busiest, most family orientated venues, would lie a wellness spa like no other? After you had queued up with all the big kids, gotten your robes from the check in desk and headed down to the joint changing facilities and straight up the wheelchair accessible lift, that all the commotion of the water slides and wave pools would be calmly left behind. After taking a trip with Lucy, Here’s my review of the Wellness at Alpamare Spa, Scarborough: A spa day by the Seaside!

    Every once in a while you jut have to say, “to hell with it!”

    The start of the year hasn’t gone quite the way I had planned, details one shall not go in to (but don’t worry, it’s nothing too bad but it feels like the tide is going against half of the time.) It’s the small moments of calm that I take pleasure in at the moment because everything else seems so frantic 98.5% of the time. I just feel like I need a lot of pampering to distract me from it all. So, when the opportunity arose to experience a little bit of luxury de-stressing at Rudding Park Spa, Harrogate I decided to grab life by the balls and enter a state of serene at this magnificent Spa.
