Autumn is truly upon us, the nights are drawing in, the conkers are starting to fall (albeit ALL OVER our garden – insert angry emoji face here!) and there is a brisk chill in the air that’s making me itch to throw on my tights!

I bought this brown skater style Zara dress from eBay (again, a steal at 99p. I don’t know how I do it either?!) back in the summer months, however it was just too thick a material for me to wear it on those warmer days. So of course with the onset of AW it was time to bring it out from the back of my wardrobe and give it an outing! As a ‘’Curvy Lolita’’ (Yes, I really do refer to myself as that!) I find it really hard to pull certain styles of clothing off. But there is something about the skater style that is very forgiving, more for the fact it hides my hips! It is a really comfy outfit that I could wear shopping in the Christmas run-up or to the office, a versatile piece!

    Fedora New Look | Dress H&M | Clutch Primark | Tights Primark | Docs C/O Cloggs.co.uk

There is nothing I like more than a dress that I can wear all year round. This H&M dress is exactly that. It’s incredibly cute, cut out folksy style of it is great through the Summer for all my Festival needs but the colour of it just screams AUTUMN!

I have teamed it up with my faithful maroon fedora and my new clutch from Primark which I managed to pick up for £5! Funnily enough it goes perfectly well with my Aila cherry red docs! I love it when you buy something and it unintentionally works so well with something else you own.

Now Autumn has crept up on us I’m looking forward to a new wardrobe of goodies. However, I’m also enjoying mixing my current wardrobe and creating new looks that can keep me warm and cosy in these blustery months.

What do you like best about the AW seasons?

Leather Jacket Quiz Clothing |  Top C/O Vera Moda @ The Hut | Shorts Primark | Birkenstocks TK Maxx

Yeah, that’s right. There are my chunky thighs rocking some shorts. I’m armed with cellulite and I aint’ afraid to use it! Housewives of Atlanta Snap in yo’ face

On a serious note, I wanted to put together a more casual feel for a style post as I generally tend to have a more ‘’put together’’ look. So when the lovely team at The Hut got in touch to let me know they had some samples available to trial I jumped at the chance to take part. I love The Hut as it has some real quality brands that are available at an accessible price. I am regularly going glazy eyed over there promotional emails each week. However, this gorgeous purple t-shirt was perfect for the Festival season. Purple isn’t normally a colour I go for but it is quite a transitional colour in to the Autumn month. Oh, and words cannot describe just how comfy it is to wear? So much so (and strike me down for saying this!) but I can’t help slouch around the house in it because it just so cosy.

My new leather jacket was a purchase from Quiz Clothing when I won my voucher at the Blog Yorkshire Event which you can read all about here! My £50 voucher stretched a long way as I managed to blag this leather jacket which is extremely comfy and not too heavy if I just need a light jacket. I also got two dresses for the pleasure, one of which you can also read about in my blog called Bardot Babe!

My shorts were a little bargain from Primark a few seasons ago & of course my trusty Birkenstocks that I picked up from TK Maxx for £20 are an absolute staple in my life. I’m not quite sure what I’m going to do through the Winter for footwear? I’m not sure I can get away with wearing my fluorescent pink Nikes to the office! So, I’d love to hear from you if you have any footwear suggestions for my poorly feet. I suffer from high in steps and if I wear flat shoes they start to drop and the only way to describe it is excruciating pain! So please do get in touch in the comments below!

Now I hope you have had a lovely fix of my wobbly legs and terrible Gene Simmons impression. Over & out!

So the imminent, yearly visit to Leeds Festival is very nearly upon us and it gives me great pleasure putting together so festival-worthy outfits for my favourite weekend of the year.

My main goal for this year was to find a floor length, lace kimono (Yes, I am still reminisicng over my own lace wedding gown from June. Give me a break okay?!) and I was determind to find one that didn’t break the bank but also looked good. I spent hours trawling the net when I came across Hidden Fashion – there website was filled with ridiculously cheap clothing items (I’m talking 99p cheap?!) and came across this gorgeous kimono for only £9.99. I was sold, so I hit ‘’add to basket’’.

My little flowery cami dress is so comfy! I urge you all to go out and buy one of these dresses, they are perfect for sunny, summer days & especially for festivals. At £5 it was a bargain!

Ever the one for a bargain, I picked up this funky maroon fedora in New Look for a mere £3 in the sale. I could not believe I had found something so cool and so on trend (Maroon is going to be BIG for AW 14/15) for three English Stirling pounds. Even the cashier was jealous of my little find!

You’ll notice I braided my hair ‘’Heidi Style’’ as I wanted to try something a little different to my hair. I think I will be rocking that style at Leeds Festival frequently, I loved how it made my hair so big!

Are you going to any festivals this year or have you been? How did you style your outfits for those long, summery, hazy days?
I for one cannot wait to be dancing in a field to some of the best music around in less than two weeks times!

    LookALike Collaboration: HAIM | QueenBeady

Hello, Hello, Hello & welcome to August! Can you believe another month has flown by? This month I am super excited as it is the month of Leeds Festival and I cannot bleeding wait. It is such an electric experience being at a festival and you cannot compare it to anything else in life.

When the lovely SOPHIE asked if some of us wanted to get on board with a ‘’Celebrity LookALike’’ challenge/collaboration I jumped at the chance.

    DSCF0752 (3)DSCF0756 (2)DSCF0761

Most of you know my absolute LOVE for the band, Haim. It sounds big headed but alot of people tell me about my resemeblance to resident Baby Haim aka Alana. Now I don’t know if it is because I’m pint sized or rock the middle parting? But apparently, I do. And of course I am ever so humble when people tell me that…. YEAH RIGHT?! You have to scrape me from the ceiling any time anyone says that because to me, they are my idols. Simple.

So because I’m not a huge make up junkie or beauty blogger as such, I thought I would take my own spin on things by doing a more ‘’Fashion’’ related post by depicting their style. If you want to read my post on Alana Haim’s Outfit Inspiration you can read it here! I tried to keep it very simple because that is exactly what Alana’s style is like.

My Hair. I literally wake up on a morning and this is what it is like. slightly wavy or kinked (in slightly annoying spots!) with my middle parting. I should probably do more with it, but it is just how the Haim Sisters rock it?!

The Top. This was another eBay find. ‘’MORE ISSUES THAN VOGUE’’. I absolutely love the over sized feel to it & I will be taking this to Leeds Festival with me this year. YAY!!

The Shorts. These are an old vintage pair of Topshop roll up shorts. Excuse the legs, lumps and bumps galore. But, you know whatttttt, I don’t care bitchessssss! Alana never goes on stage without parading around in the teeniest, tiniest shorts in her wardrobe and she looks super duper cute!

The Chelsea Boots. I love my chelsea boots but I haven’t worn them much as it’s summer and I want to get my tootsies out whilst I can. During the winter these are my staple, go to boots. They were from Barratts and cost £50!

The Socks. Oh my little frilly socks. I feel like I have rewound back to class 4 and I am just starting a new school year, with my brand new uniform on. Those were the days where you could get away with frilly socks. Not at the ripe age of 24! But, again, Alana rocks it. So that makes it ok, right? They were from Primark of course, priced at a cool £1.50.

Now, time to send you over to all the other girls collaboration pages to see how they rocked their celebrity inspired look! Head over to:
