    They really do say laughter is the best medicine. It’s free and so easy to obtain, it’s all within our own power to use it. So why on earth don’t we rely on it a lot more? I feel like the world can be such a sad, sorry state of affairs where everyone gets so consumed with political correctness and the monstrosities that go on that we just need to let ourselves be a little bit more, well, free.

    I didn’t think that I’d be able to get Mindfulness Monday up first thing, but, I pulled my socks up around 10pm on Sunday night and got writing didn’t I? I’d kick myself if I let this series slip through the net plus it gives me many reasons to smile on a Monday which generally can be a pretty tenuous day of the week.     Mindfulness Monday #1 | QueenBeady

    Going in to 2016 I didn’t make any New Years resolutions, instead I just said to myself “you need to get to happy & healthy” – so I pondered on how I could enhance my life, I’m slowly making slight changes to my diet again and I am looking to return to the gym (ASAP) but how on earth do I work on being happy? Now it seems such a silly question but I thought about it, I am happy. I enjoy life. But, what I think I meant to say was “appreciate being happy.” When I read Erin Louise Hunts blog post on apps to help with any goals or resolutions an app called “Mindfulness” popped out. I’ve heard a lot of people bleat on about this term & literally did not have a clue what on earth it was.

    Mindfulness is a mental state achieved by focusing one’s awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations.
