Oops. I did it again. I went a fell head over heels in love with a turtleneck jumper, didn’t I? I’ve told you once & I’ve told you twice that this endless, unconditional love for them are just way beyond anything else. Guys, it’s a top that keeps your neck warm. Just understand that for a moment. It basically renders a scarf useless. And for £5 who was going to stop me? Despite the weather being pretty cold we’ve had some real sunny days where the sun is extremely low in the sky. Sunglasses Shop answered my sunglasses shaped whole and provided me with a pair of none other than, Marc Jacobs sunnies. Guys, shit just got fricking real.

Faux Fur Stole New Look | Fisherman’s Jumper New Look on ASOS | Jeans C/O George at Asda | Boots C/O Dorothy Perkins on House of FraserBOOM. I’m back, back with my first personal style post of 2016. The weather is literally so up and down at the moment that I cannot keep up with it. One moment it’s mild, the next it’s raining and then Mr Jack Frost comes to play. It’s been a whirlwind of freak nature the last few months. We spent Boxing Day at my in-laws farm wading thigh high in pig excrement and flood water saving pigs, cows and sheep. Luckily all was fine but for my latest post, I wanted to feel a little more, well, glamorous. And as Macklemore once sang “Wearing the (Faux) Fur Fox” from the popular song Thrift Shop, that is what I did.

It was my husband’s final race of the season and we spent the weekend at Cadwell Park, Lincolnshire. It was a hoot as always, plus the spectators café was the best one we’ve been to so far. James assures me he loved the track and it was easy to see why with all the twists and turns, along with hills and dips galore. As a (long-suffering) race widow I need to make sure that at all times I’m wearing the cosiest attired – especially for the Winter meets. The ever old-faithful ASOS helped out because I’ve been dying for some bright white sneakers for some time. I love sharing these super casual, weekend wear looks on my blog too because they are so easy to achieve!

You’ll have seen me harping on recently about some of the amazing finds I’ve come across when I went bargain hunting in my local charity shops. We are really lucky as we have a St.Gemma’s Hospice and Martin House both on our doorstep. We also live in quite an affluent area so if you look hard enough you can find plenty of good wears. One of them happened to be this 100% suede shirt from Viyella. I don’t think I could have found anything more on trend if I had have tried.
