One rainy Friday evening in August we packed our bags and filled the car up and headed across the Pennines to a coastal town to stay at the Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa, Formby. It’s just north of Liverpool and south of Southport for anyone who wonders the geographical location of this place because I’m sure when you see the photos of it’s stunning, National Trust beach you will want to go!
