MY TRAVEL ROUND UP OF 2018 | QUEENBEADY

    TRAVEL ROUND UP OF 2018

After packing up our bags, not to board a flight but to move home, a (teeny-teeny-teeny) part of me was kicking myself that I’d not indulged in as much travel as I’d have liked in 2018, it was purely down to the house move that we had to reign in any travelling on many, excessive holidays throughout the year. Instead we focussed on two, very extravagant trips abroad in the first half of the year before we bought the house, which I think has resulted in me feeling totally burnt out towards the back-end of this year. Once I sat down and listed out where we had travelled to and the fabulous press trips I’ve also been on around the UK I started to feel quite grateful that we’d be fortunate enough to fit what we did in and around our very stressful house move.

A 5am start is something that should never happen… unless you are going on holiday, that is! Lucky for us that’s exactly why our alarm was going off at that (ungodly) hour. It’s getting to that time of year again when you start pulling your hair out deciding what to get for those closest to you at Christmas. I drive myself round in circles trying to choose what my husband would like best that it makes me dizzy. Picking something meaningful that looks like you’ve taken time to choose each of their prezzies without breaking the bank can be a mean task but I have just the thing that covers all basis’ for your friends and family. I’ve always liked surprising the husband or family members with breaks away but it can become quite costly. Luckily, having travelled with National Holidays recently, I realised that there are travel alternatives that don’t break the bank and offer a more relaxed approach to holidaying! Here are 5 coach breaks with National Holidays to book for a loved one this Christmas.

I know a lot of people would turn their nose up at a coach holiday, and I really don’t know why because I was brought up travelling on coaches from a very young age and have always had very fond memories spending summers with my grandparents travelling the UK and around Europe. Not many people my age would even dream of travelling on one, but here’s the deal they’re a lot more fun and independent than you think, not to mention much more environmentally friendly than other methods of travel (remember to do something for the planet!) So, here’s why you should consider a coach break with National Holidays next time you travel…
