    I have to say December really is one of my favourite times of year to have a little staycation. Especially here in Yorkshire. It seems to have become a little tradition and it certainly gets me in the mood for the festivities that are about to begin with the run up to Christmas. Heading off to the Yorkshire Dales on a crisp yet sunny morning set us up perfectly for our wintry weekend at the Devonshire Arms Hotel & Spa, Bolton Bolton Abbey.

    A LUXURY STAY AT THE DAKOTA DELUXE, LEEDS | QUEENBEADY

    Oh hey there, it seems I took nearly a two-week break from the blog (and I so didn’t mean to do that!) You see things were (and still are!) very hectic, especially with the run up to my guest speaking slot at #BlogAtTheBeach last week. I was busy prepping and zoning my energy in to not getting nervous that it just kinda fell by the wayside. I was doing well with the nerves getting the better of me until a few days before, so when the opportunity came up to spend the night before the event at Leeds’ newest hot spot I couldn’t resist. After all, I was ready for a bit of R’n’R beforehand with a luxury stay at the Dakota Deluxe, Leeds. Having already become accustomed with this hotel after hearing all about it from a friend (who raved and raved about it!) I knew it was exactly the type of hotel I was looking for, even if it was in my city!
    Sit tight, because I’m pretty sure you’re going to add this to your bucket list for when you’re next in town…
