HOW TO SPEND A DAY IN LIVERPOOL #VISITLIVERPOOL

This was a press trip with Visit Liverpool – How to spend a day in Liverpool

Oh Liverpool, you really are a magical city. There is something that seems to draw me in to this place like no other. Maybe its because of the fond memories I hold with both my husband and friends, the people that live there, the amazing food and drink scene or the sheer history and pride that it holds deep within it. I was kindly invited by Visit Liverpool to come along for the day to experience some of the things that I haven’t already had chance to do whilst here previously. It was time to head back to a place I find so familiar for a day of even more exploring!

When presented with the opportunity to road-test one of Travelodge’s newly refurbished hotel’s, I jumped at the chance to head to their Liverpool Central The Strand digs this weekend just past. Based on Albert Dock’s you can’t deny that this hotel has an envious spot in Liverpool. With great views, great shops and wonderful bars surrounding the spot, you were literally spoilt for choice. The hotel stands like a rather large, glass boxed giant over the road and is imposing but mimics the ultra modern mixed with the old on this long street that lines the docks, The Strand.
