AD WINTER SUN HOLIDAY TO LANZAROTE WITH JET2HOLIDAYS
I’m a big believer in travelling to find some vitamin D the colder months so I was very excited for our Winter Sun holiday to Lanzarote with Jet2holidays. This post is in collaboration with Jet2holidays.
We all want to travel the world (well, most of us!) and it seems that every time I log on to Instagram some bikini clad person is strutting around some amazing beach whilst it pours it down with rain here in the UK. Queue a cake-ridden binge fest to drown my sorrows. One, they look amazing in said bikini and two, I’m not there. As mentioned in previous posts I was once a travel agent for 8 years so know a few tricks of the trade to make sure you are getting the most for your money. Luckily we make roughly 3 trips abroad a year, with a few UK breaks thrown in too & I want to share with you how we plan for our travel plans cost effectively!
I have so many memories to share with you from our trip to Madeira but first I want to share 5 reasons why you should travel to Madeira! I won this fabulous trip at icelolly.com#BlogAtTheBeachevent last year and it is something I am truly thankful for. The holiday came at a time where my body just needed that break and it was time to soak up some sunshine and spend some quality R’n’R with my husband too. Whilst some say the island is the Blue Rinse capital I didn’t mind rubbing shoulders with the OAPs because Madeira had so much more to offer….
I hope my post(card) reaches you before I get back from #Jet2Sunchester. You know what the post is like when you are abroad. “Snail Mail” springs to mind. Well, I wanted to write to you to tell you all about the amazing time I had with Jet2Holidays this weekend island hopping from Majorca to Tenerife and finally to Malta. I’ve sent some fun photos too of the awesome time all me and my blogging friends got up to!
You may have read about our tour of Chichen Itza in my last Mexico blog post, so I see you are hungry for more. Part deux of this little trip, you might say? Okay, okay, they speak Spanish over there not French, but you catch my drift. As part of our Chichen Wonders tour with Thomson Holidays we also got to visit two more places, one of which was Hubiku, home to the popular Hubiku Cenote & the Tequila Museum, Mexico. It was in the mad heat of the day and after a whistle stop tour of the buffet dinner at Kin Restaurant, it was time to jump in to the cool waters of this natural sink hole.
