    I’ve written posts in the past about how you can help decide where you should go on holiday next & I’ve also wrote countless posts about the destinations I’ve travelled to (most recently with Thomson Holidays to Ibiza)all of which I’m sure are very useful to holiday makers and those who travel (or at least I hope!) and I’m always still looking for inspiration for my next holiday. Reading other blogger’s reviews to flicking through endless holiday brochures has given me plenty of food for thought on many occasions when I’m feeling at a loss. And even after taking all my advice I’m now stuck in a rut. I don’t know exactly where I want to go next?

    We spend all year saving for that special holiday and a huge percentage of why us Brits decide to go abroad is to escape the grim weather we have here in the UK. So what happens when it rains when you are on holiday? We stomp our feet, try do a “sunshine dance” and do that terribly British thing where we moan about things we can’t change. But, truth be told there is some beauty in amongst the madness and a little bit of rain won’t hurt anyone. Let’s face it, no-one wants to worry about whether it’s going to rain on holiday but why not have a bit of a back up plan, just in case? I’ve put a few tips together of how you can make the most of your time if it rains when you’re on holiday…

    imageI have so many memories to share with you from our trip to Madeira but first I want to share 5 reasons why you should travel to Madeira! I won this fabulous trip at icelolly.com #BlogAtTheBeach event last year and it is something I am truly thankful for. The holiday came at a time where my body just needed that break and it was time to soak up some sunshine and spend some quality R’n’R with my husband too. Whilst some say the island is the Blue Rinse capital I didn’t mind rubbing shoulders with the OAPs because Madeira had so much more to offer….

    I hope my post(card) reaches you before I get back from #Jet2Sunchester. You know what the post is like when you are abroad. “Snail Mail” springs to mind. Well, I wanted to write to you to tell you all about the amazing time I had with Jet2Holidays this weekend island hopping from Majorca to Tenerife and finally to Malta.     Today I’m a little bit absent from the blog, but alas, I am over on Beth’s blog over at BeautyInBeta for her wonderful Festive Blog Takeover. Beth kindly got in touch with me to see if I’d like to take part, of course, the answer was a resounding YES! I’ve always been a huge advocate of Beth’s blog and what she stands for so it’s great to help a sister out!

    Not only does Beth cover a wonderful range of topics, beauty, lifestyle, fashion (and dare I say it, CATS!) Whilst thought provoking, she never fails to amuse me with her jokes & humour. She is a serious sweetheart.
