Leather Coat Mango | Breton Top Zara | Cigarette Trousers Mango | Leather Bag Bought in Italy | Loafers H&M
On Saturday we decided to head in to Leeds for brunch. It’s not something we regularly do but spontaneity ruled that morning and we also needed to return my Zara order too. I wanted to wear my new leather jacket & I have to say I am head over heels in love with it. It’s a hand me down and boy, do I want to wear it all day, everyday. It’s beautiful and so unbelievably soft too. Of course, I had to pair it with my Breton striped top. Did someone say, Parisian Chic?
Yes, I am one of those people who lusts after Breton stripes & big floppy black hats. There is something effortlessly chic about the French style that has captured not only Bloggers eyes but the whole world. So much so there is a book about it. I’m still yet to purchase it but somehow I know that when payday rolls around it will be firmly sat in a shopping basket somehow.
Every girl dreams of owning that vintage, leather Chanel shoulder bags & if you don’t, hey what the hell is wrong with you? By the time I reach double my age (that’s 50 I’ll have you know!) I can promise you I will have saved long & hard for one of these precious bags.
With Spring just around the corner I couldn’t think of a more perfect outfit. With warmer days heading with a touch of a breeze you don’t want to be too layered so going for longer sleeves & thinner material is the way forward for me.
How do you dress ”Parisian”? Are there lots of new outfit ideas you have for Spring time?Rebecca xxx
Top H&M | Skirt C/O Poppy Lux | Watch Olivia Burton | Leopard Print Shoes New Look I’ve always dreamed of owning my own walk-in wardrobe, so when Mr C’s Grandparent’s go on holiday twice a year I can play pretend. Whilst a striking resemblance to the girl out of the ‘’The Ring’’ is quite apparent in these photo’s it was time for me to play dress up. I am a huge fan of Breton stripes and own far too many of these tops to even care to suggest, but, when paired with a sparkly new skirt from Poppy Lux (sister brand to SugarHill Boutique) it seemed a match made in heaven? Now, I love this time of year as it becomes acceptable to wear a little bit of sparkle without feeling too guilty. After all, one of my main motto’s in life is ‘’leave a little sparkle wherever you go’’ and this skirt does exactly that. I teamed this look with my new Olivia Burton watch that the husband bought me for my birthday back in October – a firm favourite of mine! Not forgetting my new leopard print heels, an eBay session brought these to me. Now, you must excuse me whilst I head back up to the dressing room and play Princesses for a few more hours…
Boucle Jacket Boohoo Boutique (eBay) | Top New Look (eBay) | Skirt H&M (eBay) | Shoes Primark
Yes. As you guessed it from the title, I love a good boucle jacket & this one is not to be ignored! As you know I spend A LOT of my spare time browsing through eBay trying to find all the trends at a fraction of the price. Some say I am ‘’The Thrifty Shopping Queen’’ and it’s a title I quite like thank you very much.
When I won this jacket for a mere £2.99 (plus postage!) I was more than excited to try it on and wear it out. I love the blue & white porcelain style to it, the jacket is a little different to what you would find on the high street & that is one of the main reasons I love it! I don’t like to wear something that is off the shelf and readily available and if I do I like to give it my own twist.
I paired it with a little crop top and lace cream skirt to keep it quite cute and girly! I love the way my heels completely elongate my legs (Yep, I think I just got a cheeky #ILoveMyselfBecause… hashtag in there!)
All in all this outfit came under £20 and I think it is great for a lovely lunch date or even office wear! The jacket is so versatile and could jazz up any outfit!
