Jacket Cardigan Topshop | Top Primark | Skirt Primark | Knee High Boots New Look

I don’t know what it is about the 90’s vibe that we all love? The re-introduction of Clueless (thanks to Iggy’s ”I’m so fancy” summer hit) has reignited that love/hate relationship with all the tackiness that comes with the era of boy bands, inflatable chairs, lava lamps and any other aptly 90’s themed item you can think of. But I do know that I love the monochrome look, it’s at the forefront of fashion at the moment but I’m seeing it in a really ”androgynous” style too. I thought it was time to put a playful twist on it! My pleather skirt from Primark was a steal in the sales just before Christmas at a mere £3 even if I wore it once it was still going to have been worth it. The stripes are everywhere, I just love how typically Parisian it is – even my Mum comments on how much I wear stripes. Is it time to stop wearing them? Nah, I didn’t think so! This cardi/jacket is something I can’t live without, I picked this up on eBay & I constantly lean to it when I want a light jacket that isn’t too formal but not too casual! The boucle pattern is what does it for me I think. Have you got any classic ”decade” outfits that you go for? I see the 1970’s style is making a revival too, so get those bell bottoms out quick!

Camel Coat Hand me down | Breton Top Zara | Chinos Mango | Shoes Primark | Scarf Barbour

Tartan & breton stripes have to be my perfect combination. Are you all with me on that one? I don’t know about you, but when Autumn comes I love to mix patterns to create a brighter and stand out look against all the tree’s & plants that have browned over.

There is something ever so ‘’Parisian’’ about this look that I can imagine walking down Montmartre & taking in the sights of the Eiffel Tower and drinking tea in quaint little coffee shops.

I have been lusting over the camel coloured coats recently and could not believe my luck when my little sister decided to pass on her coat to me (there is nothing I love more than a hand me down so I can give it a new lease of life!) this has firmly stayed on recently and never want to take it off it’s that cosy!

My shoes are also a particular favourite of mine too! These faux snake skin shoes were a steal from Primark recently and they have not come off my feet. So comfy & versatile they can do no wrong in my eyes!

How would you style breton stripes or tartan would clash like I have?

Leather Jacket Quiz | Necklace Topshop | Jumpsuit C/O Wal-G | Heels New Look

When the Wal-G package landed on my doorstep I was ready to get my game face on and style something that is a little bit unusual to what I would normally style. I was sent the pale green jumpsuit, which, in all fairness isn’t something that wouldn’t tend to flatter my rather large bosom nor my hips which subsequently resemble a woman who should have given birth to 100 children by now.

Ever the optimist I set to it by digging out my leather jacket to give it a slightly edgier feel & I must say I was pretty happy with the results. Rather than draw unwanted attention to certain areas of my body it accentuated them which I was most pleased with. Add a pair of barely there heels to create a sophisticated, glamorous look! I accessorised with a thick, chunky necklace from Topshop which completed this look.

The whole ”pyjama” style look is on trend at the moment so it felt great that I could actually rock this look despite my curvaceous figure! I say give it a go, you might be pleasantly surprised with the outcome!
    How would you style it?

Dress Primark | Shoes Guess (eBay)

    This.

This whole outfit is exactly what I have been looking for. You probably won’t believe me but this look cost me a grand total of £25. I know, you are all looking at the screen in awe? Yes, a whole twenty five English, Stirling pounds!

My shoes were a brilliant find on eBay and cost me only £20. They are perfect for sprucing up any outfit. Although the more I wear them, the less I can wear them. So that’s leaves a mere £5 for the dress, which is indeed correct! I picked up this dress in the Primark sale very recently and could not believe my eyes when I saw it hanging there.

I love the outfit because it has a really cute and feminine. I felt fabulous in it, quite sassy as a matter of fact! I will definitely wear this out to dinner next time the husband decides to wine & dine me. Which I do hope is soon as it’s my birthday this month! Wahoo!

Have you picked up any bargains recently that you are particularly proud of? I can’t wait to hear from you!

Hat C/O The Hut | Dress Zara | Tights Primark | Chelsea Boots Barratts

Autumn is truly upon us, the nights are drawing in, the conkers are starting to fall (albeit ALL OVER our garden – insert angry emoji face here!) and there is a brisk chill in the air that’s making me itch to throw on my tights!

I bought this brown skater style Zara dress from eBay (again, a steal at 99p. I don’t know how I do it either?!) back in the summer months, however it was just too thick a material for me to wear it on those warmer days. So of course with the onset of AW it was time to bring it out from the back of my wardrobe and give it an outing! As a ‘’Curvy Lolita’’ (Yes, I really do refer to myself as that!) I find it really hard to pull certain styles of clothing off. But there is something about the skater style that is very forgiving, more for the fact it hides my hips! It is a really comfy outfit that I could wear shopping in the Christmas run-up or to the office, a versatile piece!
