Fluffy Jumper Miss Selfridge | Necklace New Look | Leather Trousers Topshop | Clutch New Look | Chelsea Boots Barratts

There comes a time in the year when the leather trousers come out and are a staple item from my wardrobe. The days are cooler and you don’t have to frantically talc’ yourself down to try and squeeze yourself in to the little blighters.

I recently wore this outfit to a new local bar & grill called Sir Dukes which you can read about here! The atmosphere is pretty eclectic and funky so it warranted a fluffy jumper and leather trousers combo.

The outfit has a really naughty but nice feel to it. With the cuteness of the powder blue fluffy jumper (thank god pastels are still in for the AW14 season!) that scream Cher Horowitz and being ‘’so totally clueless’’  but the leather trousers completely vamp up the whole outfit!

Add a few simple touches with my black and white statement necklace and an oversized clutch you have yourself a day to night outfit that takes you in to Autumn quite nicely.

How are you transitioning in to the Autumn months with your outfits?

Jumper Zara | Bag Charity Shop | Leggings Primark | Trainers Nike Dunks from eBay

If there is something that is always present on the style scene it’s the Sports Luxe & Street Style phenomens. Sports Luxe is that structured appeal mixed with the freshest sports brands thrown in to the mix and Street Style just screams ‘’out there’’ whoever rocks this style they are not afraid to completely push the boundaries.

I thought, ‘’Hey, why not mash up the two for my next blog post?’’  so I set to it.

My jumper is a classic cable knit jumper from Zara which I found on eBay for only 99p! I can see this being worn alot during the winter months because it is just so cosy and pretty much goes with anything. How perfect?

I’ve had my Nike Dunks at the back of my wardrobe for a while, initially bought from eBay for Leeds Fest 2013 we battled a humongous amount of mud that year so there was no way that I wanted to ruin these classic pieces of footwear. I see kids wearing them all the time & wonder if my 24 year old self is maybe a little bit too old for them, however, I think I’ve managed to get the look right without looking like a 12 year old in the process.

Of course my outfit is never complete without finding a little gem of a bargain and that has to be my little mustard yellow bag that I found in a local charity shop for £2.

I’m frantically keeping up to date with #LFW tweets and posts this weekend, just wishing I could be there. I couldn’t believe it when an invite arrived in my inbox last week but sadly I just did not have the time, nor money, to get myself down to London at such short notice. Fingers crossed next year I get another and I can be joining all the fashionistas then?

Have you been to London Fashion Week this year? If so, what have been your favourite shows and best street style looks?

Leather Jacket Quiz Clothing |  Top C/O Vera Moda @ The Hut | Shorts Primark | Birkenstocks TK Maxx

Yeah, that’s right. There are my chunky thighs rocking some shorts. I’m armed with cellulite and I aint’ afraid to use it! Housewives of Atlanta Snap in yo’ face

On a serious note, I wanted to put together a more casual feel for a style post as I generally tend to have a more ‘’put together’’ look. So when the lovely team at The Hut got in touch to let me know they had some samples available to trial I jumped at the chance to take part. I love The Hut as it has some real quality brands that are available at an accessible price. I am regularly going glazy eyed over there promotional emails each week. However, this gorgeous purple t-shirt was perfect for the Festival season. Purple isn’t normally a colour I go for but it is quite a transitional colour in to the Autumn month. Oh, and words cannot describe just how comfy it is to wear? So much so (and strike me down for saying this!) but I can’t help slouch around the house in it because it just so cosy.

My new leather jacket was a purchase from Quiz Clothing when I won my voucher at the Blog Yorkshire Event which you can read all about here! My £50 voucher stretched a long way as I managed to blag this leather jacket which is extremely comfy and not too heavy if I just need a light jacket. I also got two dresses for the pleasure, one of which you can also read about in my blog called Bardot Babe!

My shorts were a little bargain from Primark a few seasons ago & of course my trusty Birkenstocks that I picked up from TK Maxx for £20 are an absolute staple in my life. I’m not quite sure what I’m going to do through the Winter for footwear? I’m not sure I can get away with wearing my fluorescent pink Nikes to the office! So, I’d love to hear from you if you have any footwear suggestions for my poorly feet. I suffer from high in steps and if I wear flat shoes they start to drop and the only way to describe it is excruciating pain! So please do get in touch in the comments below!

Now I hope you have had a lovely fix of my wobbly legs and terrible Gene Simmons impression. Over & out!

DRESS Quiz Clothing | SHOES Gold Glitter Jimmy Choo’s

    S0101356

First things first, excuse the terrible photos. I was battling with the windy elements and it did not make for easy photo taking.
I wanted to share with you some of the treats that I managed to buy with the voucher I won from Quiz Clothing at the Blog Yorkshire Event which you can read about here! I couldn’t wait to spend the vouchers and after endlessly browsing the website it was time to visit a store where I could spend them.

To say I’ve always been wary of Quiz Clothing is an understatement. I have always seen the brand as quite a garish clothing company, but, after being assured times were changing at Quiz HQ my opinions have slowly started to change.

I managed to blag 3 items with my £50 voucher and I can’t wait to share the other pieces with you soon.
As soon as I walked in to the bright & airy store I was immediately drawn in by this dress. The pretty’’ ‘’porcelain’’ blue & white is so dainty but was saddened that my size was not available, but ever the optimistic I picked up the dress that was 2 sizes small & headed to the changing room. I’m glad I did because it fit! The stretchy, bodycon style material allowed for my rather, bigger bust and fit perfectly.

The floaty-ness of the dress makes me feel so girly & I cannot wait to wear this out on the final summer nights that we have.

Of course, a pretty dress warrants a pretty pair of shoes! So out came my magical, gold glittery Jimmy Choo’s that I wore for our wedding.

Have you bought anything from Quiz recently? I’d love to know what styles you went for?

HAT New Look || DRESS Zara

    S0091340

    S0031241

This has to be my favourite dress in my wardrobe. Period. I bought this recently in the sale from Zara for a mere £15.99 and it was half price. I think I was drawn in by the gorgeous boho chic style to it, and the gorgeous crochet detail around the neck.

As much as I think I’d fit right in at a Festival (namely Coachella!) in this outfit, it wouldn’t exactly be the most practical dress for a festival, so excuse me whilst I go sit in a corner & cry.

The dress was purchased for my Cousins wedding at the beginning of August and I was so happy with this floaty number in pale pink that I just could not wait to wear it. Not only does it make me feel like a total Queen, but it has this super sexy low back which you can just about see.

I vamped it up a bit by teaming it with my bargain Fedora from New Look to give it that slightly edgier feel. I begrudgingly didn’t wear the hat to the wedding after much deliberation! (According to the Mr & my family it wouldn’t have been ‘’very wedding-y’’)

Of course this dress warranted a barefoot kind of approach! A la Nude Feet! So I hope they don’t creep you out too much.

Have you found anything in the sales that you are particularly taken with like I am with my Zara dress? I’d love to see what you’ve bought!
