When River Island got in touch with me to take part in their Secret Santa it was an offer I couldn’t refuse. With Christmas just under 24 hours away it seems nonsense to harp on about New Years Eve already, but once one festivity is over and done with, I need another to entertain me. Plus I need to do some online shopping from my bed over the holidays too. This simple yet chic dress is from Bon Prix. Bon Prix? I hear you ask. To be honest it wasn’t a site I was aware of either but as I soon trawled their site when asked to work with them it was clear that they had some really great essential pieces.

I’ve said many times on social media and even wrote about it here, that I just don’t seem to be able to get in to the Festive spirit this year. It’s not that I’m a scrooge – I love embracing Christmas. Decorating the Christmas tree, all the chocolate (and I mean alllll the chocolate) and big fat roasts to devour. There’s nothing I enjoy more than a cosy weekend indulging in all things Christmas. I’ve just clicked on to Facebook and funnily enough, someone else has just posted a status about not feeling Christmassy this year too. It looks like I’m not the only one. But, I think I’ve finally put my finger on it.
