I am one hundred million percent, over the moon to tell you all that little old me won the “Best Use of Photography” award at the #BloggersBlogAwards, hosted by Hayley of Tea Party Beauty at the Blueberry Hill Studios on Saturday. I’d have written this post sooner but I’ve just been so overwhelmed by the kind messages, tweets and comments that have come in their droves over the last 72 hours.

To say the last few weeks have been an ultimate high would be an incredible understatement. July started with a trip to Ibiza which I am still yet to finish blogging about, but the week was spent filled with quad biking trips, gorgeous views and beaches, paella and lots of San Miguel. It was also the holiday I felt brave enough to share a swimwear photo on my Instagram. The response was just amazing. I’m a sucker for casual clothing, every once in a while I like to mix it up an bit and add a bit of tailoring to my outfit and quite frankly I’m pretty much in love with this mix and match outfit. A smart long-line jacket and bright white trainers shouldn’t normally go together, but somehow they just do. Who would have thought it?
I think a lot of the time people really focus on the negative sides of blogging. For me there are a few things I’d change but hey, who am I to say what should and shouldn’t happen within the realms on the blogosphere? It’s brought me some fantastic opportunities such as a trip to Madeira in March 2016, wonderful weekends away and beautiful clothes to wear. I haven’t even got to the part where I gush about the wonderful friends I have managed to make through it. I’m very rarely one for showing my softer side, I am very ”jokey” IRL and some people might feel that I’m very brash and sometimes a little too loud. But that’s me & people just have to accept that.
Yes, before you start reading this it is a shameful plug for you to vote for me in the UK Blog Awards. Now, little this little old blog of mine has been around since before the dawn of time (or should I say, before blogging became cool!) but it’s this last year that it has really become a hobby of mine.
I’ve used this little platform to discuss my wedding (sob, I can’t believe it’s been nearly six months!), my love for fashion & finding a bargain and not to mention my days out and my love for food.
