If I’m not browsing Instagram, you can bet your bottom dollar that I’m on the ASOS app. There is nothing more appealing than free next day delivery all for the small sum of £9.95 with lots of brands under one roof. There’s so many dresses I am coveting at the moment just in time for party season, here’s a little rundown of all the floaty dresses, embellished tops and more to feast your eyes on for your next party! And if you are running a little bit late on getting your black tie outfit sorted, this might just help.

Party season is upon us. Office Christmas parties, family get together’s and everything in between there has to be an outfit for every occasion (or is that just me? Whoops!) I don’t know about you but at this time of year I need to be prepared. I always want a new dress for each event because I love shopping (and it gives me a little thrill each time) but when it’s coming up to Christmas, each pay packet is spent on presents for others (because I’m just a nice kinda gal) you can’t possibly have everything. If you’re anything like me though, you will spend hours a day a week flicking through online shopping apps to ease the shopping blues.

I’m one of those people that groans a little bit when Autumn / Winter comes around. I know, crucify me now. I just hate the fact that we are soon going to be plunged in to darkness. You know the score, waking up and going to work in the dark, oh and then coming back home in the pitch blackness of night. I’m a girl that needs my sunshine & vitamin D (or whatever it is that the sun gives you.) However, I can’t deny that I do love the Autumn wardrobes, the snuggly days on the sofa with hot cocoa watching endless Netflix series without fear of feeling like you should really get outside and enjoy the weather, oh and did I mention I love fireworks?

Growing up we are always finding ways to fit in, be the best and generally muddling through our teenage lives without trying (but failing) to F up everything. I’ve spoken on here before about how my teenage years were riddled with confusion. One minute I’d find my tribe and the next I wasn’t welcome. It was hard. I’m confident, not scared to stand up for what I believe in, yet I’m plagued with worrying about the aftermath of that. As I’ve grown older I’ve found my voice a little bit more and the best way to use it, funnily enough, this blog is where I let my creative juices flow. Whilst I do wish I had certain things – “Hello, lottery win, where are ya?” I’ve managed to carve something of a life that I can feel content with. I’ve got a whistle stop tour of how you can create a more chilled out, stress-free, content life for yourself.

In today’s post I’m referring to the small successes we are greeted with in life. Of course, big events can comes with an amazing sense of achievement but there is also something quite euphoric about the small glories we make throughout our life. For me there have been many moments like this. People could look at them and think nothing of it, “what on earth could you feel ecstatic about that for?” – you know the one’s, resigned to doom and gloom. I adore championing people when they’ve accomplished something they are particularly proud of, big or small. I also feel it should be something that others try and take on board, too. Wouldn’t the world be a nicer place if we all did this from time to time?
