“Can you please take some photos of me before we go out for dinner?” I ask.

“Yes. But we can’t be long.” My husband replies.

The camera gets pulled out for all of 45 seconds. Snaps five photos. “Thank God at least two thirds of those photos look decent.” I retort.

The camera then suitably get’s stuffed away. Me, wishing that we had just fit a couple more in for the sake of another minute.

Excuse the long and drawn out blog title, but I think for some of us Bloggers we aren’t bestowed with an on-hand photographer Boyfriend for all our every day blogging needs and requirements, are we? So I’m trying to make it a little easier for us poor souls who have to deal with this. Welcome to the basic blogging bitches #BloggingProbs101.

First of all, whatdafuqiswiththisweather? I’m pretty sure everyone has turned to someone these last few weeks and asked the same question. I for one am totally not digging this weather. AT ALL. We jetted off to Oslo last weekend and whilst the last day the sun started to shine (yes, and all the while we wore all of our layers and carried a rucksack each. Thank you hand luggage Gods. Not.) the rest of the weekend was pretty drizzly. Then, we came back home and temperatures dip below what they were on Christmas day. Oh yes, you read that right and once again for those in the back. IT WAS COLDER THAN CHRISTMAS DAY.

Come with me to Oslo Vlog | QueenBeady

You know when I kinda went bat-shit cray cray on Snapchat because my video editing was not going quite according to plan? Well, this is the fruits of my labour (read: blood, sweat & tears!) I was going to write my Oslo posts first but then I thought, “to hell with it!” The vlog doesn’t give too much away, but you can kinda, most definitely see just how pretty the place was through the eyes of my camera lens. Whilst I didn’t get chance to film everything I hope you enjoy the snippets that I did shoot. Enjoy.

    Grafitti

I know when I start a “series” type of post they generally fall by the wayside after about a month, like my Mindfulness Monday posts that I started at the beginning of the year. I don’t know why I can’t keep them up, after all this blog has been going for 5 years or so now. I’m not quite sure when I’ll run out of things to say but for some reason I’m never too great at keeping up with these style of posts. With various blogs like this around already written by other bloggers, it might seem silly to add another one to the list, however, I realise it’s a nice little way to document some of the things that have made me smile and I want to capture the small things too. I hope by not putting a huge amount of pressure on myself to post this on a particular day of the week, might ignite more of a passion to write them. I want to look back on my blog and see it as a little diary for me to remember good times! So without further ado, I bring you Fabulous Five, numero uno.

    New Conservatory Leeds main taster

I was recently invited to review the The New Consevatory, Leeds new menu. I’d seen plenty of other bloggers head here and I had never had the pleasure yet so I was excited to see what was in store. The Restaurant and Bar is situated on Albion Place which is very central within Leeds. A very beautiful building, you head down the stairs to the bustling bar. The décor reminds me of an old-world orangery of a very regal house. The walls are lined with book shelves, with many, many novels and hardbacks adorning them, making it a really unique venue. Spending the night with my BFF was also a massive bonus, ‘cos you know we all need to blow off some steam every once in a while, she probs ate her belly pork quietly whilst getting a little bit of TMI, but who cares? FYI, spoiler alert, the belly pork was to die for.
