It’s not worth putting your time and energy into trying to impress other people, because it’s not worth your mental state.

Being able to confidently say no to things without having to give a million reasons why is when you will, I believe, really find true, inner self peace. Knowing what serves you and what doesn’t, and being able to choose how things play out is something I am slowly working on. Equally, knowing when to say yes to things is just as important, plus when you do say yes I feel it’s more meaningful. To make your own decisions, to trust your inner self is a powerful thing.
