THE “IT” RESTAURANT TO BE SEEN IN: THE IVY, LEEDS | QUEENBEADY

Our meal was provided to us free of charge in exchange for an honest review.

This place is now the “IT” restaurant to be seen in. The Ivy Leeds. It’s has brought a slice of the famous London restaurant scene up here to the North and there’s plenty more popping up left, right and centre. It begs the question – is it loosing it’s exclusivity? But fear not, the moment you walk in to the restaurant you are met by warm hostesses to check you in and lead you through the closed-door in to a festival of colour and 1920’s elegance that is the décor of this place. If anything, this place is a feast on the eyes! We hoped the food would also follow suit.

CREATING A BOUTIQUE HOTEL STYLE BEDROOM WITH LEESA* | QUEENBEADY

This is a sponsored post in collaboration with Leesa.

We recently moved in to our new home in September which has been wonderful. I had a very clear vision that I wanted to really make this house our home and my first stop would see us creating a boutique hotel style bedroom with Leesa because I wanted my bedroom to feel like a sanctuary where I could relax and unwind. In our old home we were really stuck with what we could do with it, a rather humble two up – two down set up meant there wasn’t much scope for decorations and every piece of furniture had to be butted up the 4 walls within an inch of its life. Now, my interiors flare can truly shine.

5 COACH BREAKS WITH NATIONAL HOLIDAYS TO BOOK FOR A LOVED ONE THIS CHRISTMAS* | QUEENBEADY

This is a sponsored collaboration with National Holidays.

It’s getting to that time of year again when you start pulling your hair out deciding what to get for those closest to you at Christmas. I drive myself round in circles trying to choose what my husband would like best that it makes me dizzy. Picking something meaningful that looks like you’ve taken time to choose each of their prezzies without breaking the bank can be a mean task but I have just the thing that covers all basis’ for your friends and family. I’ve always liked surprising the husband or family members with breaks away but it can become quite costly. Luckily, having travelled with National Holidays recently, I realised that there are travel alternatives that don’t break the bank and offer a more relaxed approach to holidaying! Here are 5 coach breaks with National Holidays to book for a loved one this Christmas.

5 SPOOKY PLACES TO TRAVEL TO ON HALLOWEEN TO SCARE YOURSELF SILLY | QUEENBEADY

Photos + Make Up by Jessica

I’m terrible. I must confess. I’m usually so prepared for Halloween, I’ve pinned my favourite pumpkin ideas, bought the said pumpkin from a local farmer and carved the life out of it, plus the house is usually full of sweets. But sadly, this year I have just completely forgotten. So, instead of worrying about how many disappointed children there are going to be when they knock on our door (or how many eggs I’ll be scraping off my window) I’ve put together a list of 5 spooky places to travel to on Halloween to scare yourself silly this year (or for next!)

5 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD CONSIDER A COACH BREAK WITH NATIONAL HOLIDAYS + GIVEAWAY* | QUEENBEADY

This is a sponsored post in collaboration with National Holidays.

I know a lot of people would turn their nose up at a coach holiday, and I really don’t know why because I was brought up travelling on coaches from a very young age and have always had very fond memories spending summers with my grandparents travelling the UK and around Europe. Not many people my age would even dream of travelling on one, but here’s the deal they’re a lot more fun and independent than you think, not to mention much more environmentally friendly than other methods of travel (remember to do something for the planet!) So, here’s why you should consider a coach break with National Holidays next time you travel…
