Whilst watching TV or reading a good book we often find ourselves immersing in the fictional world of our favourite characters, thinking about what life would be like to be part of their own little made-up world. This post is almost an ode to my husband, I mean let’s face it, no-one else would put up with my shit so I do have to give him some credit. Credit owed, where credit’s due and all that. Solo travel has only ever crossed my mind when I find myself feeling a little jealous seeing other’s do it (or on the odd occasion when I could throw a shoe at my hubby’s head!) Yes, I wish I was as brave as they were but truth be told I don’t think I’d enjoy it as much as we are all lead to believe we would. I don’t doubt for a moment that travelling solo is wonderful, good for the soul and something everyone needs to try but at the moment, I’m just not about that style of travel. So, here’s why your partner is the best travelling buddy!
Having the opportunity to travel is an absolute blessing and with every trip I take I thank my lucky stars that I’m fortunate enough to be able to travel the globe as much as I do. And with each trip comes some amazing memories, but there’s certain ones that will always stick out in my mind as being right up there as my top 5 travel moments of all time!
