THE ACADEMY HOTEL LONDON REVIEW – A SMALL LUXURY HOTEL OF THE WORLD

Our stay was provided to us on a complimentary basis in return for an honest review.

The buzz of London can be quite intoxicating, and we were keen to experience the city again at a more leisurely pace this year after our whistle stop tour back in September 2018.  The endless amount of hotels can be quite hard to choose from! Ordinarily I do love my luxury hotels that have personality, that are quirky and stand out from the crowd, the Academy Hotel in London is exactly that and I’m so pleased we got to experience this unassuming hotel in Bloomsbury for a long weekend in the city. Here is my the Academy Hotel London review!

THINGS YOU CAN DO THIS AUTUMN TO LOOK AFTER YOURSELF

This is a collaborative post with Villa Plus.

Summer has finally come to an end, and we’ve rung in the Autumn Equinox today. Strictly Come Dancing has started, the clocks will soon be put back, and Christmas will follow not too shortly after that. For some of us, winter can become quite hard to cope with and can be little bit depressing. But there are advantages to Autumn (which I’m ready to get my teeth stuck in to: fire season, hot chocolates with whipped cream and marshmallows, bonfire night and halloween!) It’s a great chance to reflect on things, and spend some time with yourself. Let’s take a look at a few of the ways we might look after ourselves over the course of the season.

Most of us choose to take a break during the summer, when warm weather beckons us from overseas, it’s so tempting to head off on our jollies. But the fact is that a winter break is often just as revitalising, especially given that so many of us suffer from winter blues when the weather gets colder and the nights get darker.  If you’re considering a winter break, you might find yourself a little bit short of inspiration so here’s a few potential destinations you might consider!

HOW TO SPEND A DAY IN LIVERPOOL #VISITLIVERPOOL

This was a press trip with Visit Liverpool – How to spend a day in Liverpool

Oh Liverpool, you really are a magical city. There is something that seems to draw me in to this place like no other. Maybe its because of the fond memories I hold with both my husband and friends, the people that live there, the amazing food and drink scene or the sheer history and pride that it holds deep within it. I was kindly invited by Visit Liverpool to come along for the day to experience some of the things that I haven’t already had chance to do whilst here previously. It was time to head back to a place I find so familiar for a day of even more exploring!
