Don’t believe what they say about black & blue not going together. I recently read that the Parisians love pairing the two colours together to create the chicest of outfits. So of course, when I read that I happily pick out blue and black items out of my wardrobe and with a sigh of relief, know it’s okay to put them on at the same time. Phew.

I am a huge fan of Links of London, and I also enjoy the odd afternoon tea too which I’m sure you have figured from my Blog already. So when I got the chance to receive something from the Afternoon Tea Range with Links of London AND indulge in a little bit of cake, it was quite possibly written in the stars. How could one possibly turn down the offer?
Martin House is a wonderful place, it does wonderful things for wonderful people. It’s a place that families can go to when their terminally ill children need more support than the family can give them, whilst it’s a harrowing decision for most this place is a great unit that provides love & care in the last few months of these precious lives. I’m always dropping bags and bags of clothes off at our local Martin House charity shop, so when Branded3 got in touch to say they were holding a Martin House #B3CharityRevamp event I was in.

If I could put in to words how much I love this outfit I’d be writing a sonnet or proclaiming my love in some linguistic prose that was completely off the wall. But, I’m just going to say that I am madly, deeply in love with this folksy print top, that’s reminiscent of the tops you find hanging from market stalls down windy, hilltop Greek streets. Paired with my brand new A-line, button down skirt and these sandals from Daniel Footwear, I practically live in these slip on sliders because they are so comfy & they also have really great support because they are moulded to the shape of foot. All of this together creates a real 70’s vibe too which I am loving! I have to stop myself from reaching for this outfit every time I open my wardrobe!

You know it, I know it. I’m a self-confessed stripe whore, a horizontal line addict. I just can’t get enough. If I see stripes, I need it. I don’t know what it is, or why? But it’s a pattern that just has me hanging off it’s every word. I love this dress, you will have before seen it moons ago when I styled it completely differently, here. I hope to god since then (in that small space of time) that my blog has grown wings and completely revamped itself, even if it’s just a bit.
