Pizza in the Park Church Fenton 1

Pizza in the Park, Church Fenton is a cute little addition to our local area. It’s one that is welcomed with open arms in my eyes. I mean, who doesn’t like pizza? If you don’t, you might want to stop reading now. Situated on the outskirts of Church Fenton, the site is named The Old Park Plantation and it’s home to the wildlife protection Trust too. Set in among 14 acres of woodland and ponds you’ll get a glimpse of the wonderful outdoor restaurant that is fast becoming a hit with locals! From March the 28th, you can come along on a Saturday night between 4pm – 9pm & enjoy a pizza that has been home-made and cooked in a traditional clay oven. How authentic?

Hedonist Project: Rum Shack, Leeds | QueenBeady

Hedonist Project Leeds Rum Shack 7

I’m just going to put it out there, it’s a bold statement but imma right on say it. Leeds is the food & drink capital. Yep, there I said it. Now, hear me out on this one. The wave of the ”pop up” bar & restaurant is fast becoming the ”in thing” but in Leeds I feel like we are getting some amazing new joints that have actually come on to be full-time, permanent spots because they went down so well during their short but sweet stints. The latest bar to hit New Briggate is Rum Shack. A quirky little hole. It’s unfinished and bare, but what it lacks in ”unpolished finishedness” is a bucket load of personality. Part of The Hedonist Project, you know you’re not going to be disappointed.

Leather Coat Mango | Breton Top Zara | Cigarette Trousers Mango | Leather Bag Bought in Italy | Loafers H&M

On Saturday we decided to head in to Leeds for brunch. It’s not something we regularly do but spontaneity ruled that morning and we also needed to return my Zara order too. I wanted to wear my new leather jacket & I have to say I am head over heels in love with it. It’s a hand me down and boy, do I want to wear it all day, everyday. It’s beautiful and so unbelievably soft too. Of course, I had to pair it with my Breton striped top. Did someone say, Parisian Chic?

Anniversary Weekend at Otley Chevin Country Hotel & Spa | QueenBeady

Otley Chevin Country Hotel and Spa

I’m not going to lie, I was pretty bummed that we hadn’t made any elaborate plans for our 1st wedding anniversary on Sunday. I knew we would go out to dinner but for some reason this just was not getting my pulse going. I needed something a little more luxurious that wasn’t going to break the bank. I turned to Mr C & I said; ”Please can we just see if there are any dinner, bed & breakfast deals somewhere?” bearing in mind this was 2.30pm on the day of our anniversary. I was determined we weren’t just going to let it pass by. Granted, Mr C had gone out and bought me some of the most beautiful flowers and yes, his card actually made me weep the morning I opened it as he put something ”semi-romantic” in it, which in my eyes means a lot coming from someone who isn’t quite the most romantic man in the world. We had off-loaded the dog already so I needed something, anything!

Yorkshire Bloggers Meet at Bundobust, Leeds | QueenBeady

    Bundobust Leeds 4

If there is one thing that is on my mind constantly (no, not that you dirty buggars!) it’s food. Food is pretty much all I think about. After all, it is what keeps you alive & kicking. So when the #YorkshireBloggers meet was taking shape for the May meet by the lovely Fran at A Style Creative and the words food were involved. I was allll over it like a rash. I’m a girl who likes her meat (okay, I will try stop with the innuendo’s here, but you stop being naughty pasty’s too!) so I was extremely sceptical over the suggested venue, Bundobust Leeds. It’s a vegetarian spot that caters its guests with foreign curries and Indian style market food along with delicious and unique craft beers too. When looking at the menu though, I needn’t have worried!
