    A little bit of kindness goes a long, long, way – wouldn’t you agree? 🌿⁣

    As this festive season focusses on “giving” we can get very consumed with buying gifts, black Friday and cyber week deals that it becomes a little all encompassing. I think it’s easy to lose sight of the kindness we can lend to one another without producing huge gifts on one day of the year (that’s not to say I don’t mind a prezzie or two!) I thought #happyselveschallenge would be a great way to kick off the festivities!

    It got me thinking though, I created a hashtag on Instagram many moons ago where I focussed on being happy, or being the best version of you under the guise of #happyselves and can you believe it has amassed over 75K tags. That’s incredible when you think about it really?

    Ever since I went to Florida at the age of 15 I’ve been desperately seeking every opportunity to travel back to the USA since those gloriously fun two weeks in the sunshine state, somehow though, it’s never quite worked out. So, as I sit here on a rainy November evening I scroll frantically online and ponder on exactly where I would tick off my bucket list on a dream American Road Trip if I ever got the chance.

    Holidays are the perfect time for me to absorb myself in to the literary world without any distractions around me. Our trip to Mexico was no different.     I’ve tried holding off delving too far in to my autumn winter wardrobe this year. One, because I wasn’t quite ready to stop wearing my Birkenstocks just yet and two, because I have a winter sun holiday very soon & the crossover of seasonal style just wasn’t working out for me.     30 BEFORE 30 UPDATE

    Wow, first of all 2016 me was very ambitious. It seems that I was hellbent on giving myself  long list of things to do or achieve before the time I was 30 and boy did I try and give it my best shot, but I think given that my 30th birthday is looming larger by the day, it’s safe to say that for my 30 before 30 update is not going to be full marks. But, let’s look on the Brightside and celebrate what I have achieved!
