There is a real cafe culture blossoming on our local high street, it’s a lifestyle that I love to embrace. There is nothing nicer than meeting a friend for a coffee, setting worlds to rights and not having to worry about the time. Whilst you are spoilt for choice with various eateries in Boston Spa, Moo, is a firm fixture that has been here for years and quite possibly paved the way for others.
You know when I had a ‘’quarter life crisis’’ last year, well, I think I have had as secondary follow up to that crisis recently. I decided that if I couldn’t look good at 25, when will I? This then prompted me to download the #30dayabchallenge & #30daysquatchallenge and get eating my vegetables. My moods are so up & down, to the point where I genuinely think I have something wrong with me. Yes, a little overboard I know. I never really thought about the lack of activity or lack of healthy food I was eating. I sit on my bottom all day, 5 days a week. It’s not exactly a quick passage to losing weight. So that was that, rather than munch on a rather large tuna and cheese panini every day (followed by crisps and chocolate..) I started bringing home made salads to work. Not only was I eating healthily, I was actually saving a shit-tonne of money too.
For those who follow me ontwitter you will be no stranger to my wish of wanting to head to our newest Cafe, Dulcie Butterfly. Well, my dreams came true on the bank holiday weekend. After our spa day, you can read about that here, my best friend & I headed for some scrumptious delights in this emporium of vintage goodness!

Creating a luxury Caribbean or Mauritius holiday experience in the UK was top of the agenda & I couldn’t think of anything better than The Courtyard Spa at the local Bridge Inn at Walshford. Having been before when the Spa just opened it has recently undergone a massive £225K refurbishment adding even more wonderful spa features to their repertoire.
