After heading to Brunch at Ox Club, Headrow House on Saturday with Sophie, Jenna and Carrie-Anne it seemed rude not to make the most of the white-washed walls that greet you at this super-cool new Leeds venue, to create the perfect ”OOTD” post. Saturday was a pretty full on day, with a leisurely brunch in the morning with good friends, it was a dash across town to #LeedsXmasMeet and then after that, another hop, skip and jump to the #LaRedouteBloggerXmasParty. It was all systems go and doing it on a hangover was pretty testing at times. I’m pretty sure it was a little daring to do outfit shots of a tight dress with a carb-filled tummy, but heck, who the hell cares. What is perfection anyway?

Ox Club at Headrow House Leeds

Brunch. Quite frankly Brunch is fast becoming my favourite meal of the day. It’s the middle of the morning, when you’ve got a hangover and can’t even be bothered to move you know you need to eat but, you really don’t know what you want to gauge on? Well, that’s where my fave meal of the day comes in. There’s no rules with Brunch. I feel like I’m saying Brunch, a lot. But seriously, you can go sweet, you can go savoury. You can drink tea or you can drink Bucks Fizz – you decide. The endless possibilities that come with (sorry, it’s coming again) Brunch make it the most perfect excuse for indulging. With this becoming a real “thing” here in the UK, Leeds has needed to fill that gap in the market. Thus Ox Club at Headrow House was born.

    NO DRESS CODE
Coat C/O Bon Marche | Top Mango | Jeans Topshop | Belt New Look | Trainers ASOS

There is no dress code. All these rules and regulations that we are expected to adhere too are bullshit. I wear what I want and what I feel comfortable in. If I want to experiment then I will. If I’m pleasantly surprised by the outcome then usually it’s something I will wear again. I hate that we all have to be pigeon-holed in a style that “suits our shape.”

    JYSK HAPPY

There’s a feeling in my stomach. I feel rather sick. I’m not coming down with anything. Oh wait, it’s that dreaded feeling from the night before. I haven’t got a hangover either, but I do know I spent a shit-load of money getting love-drunk on Black Friday. How can anyone resist the temptation of the sales and wonder of these magnificent sales that come round each year. The thing I love most about them is that it’s all heavily discounted current season. You know that faux-fur, long line coat I’ve been lusting after on Dorothy Perkins at £75? Well, come Friday it was mine at the swift price of £37.50. I was not going to miss out this year. Shopping is practically my favourite hobby and if it’s something I enjoy, then why the hell not? Here’s the motions that we all go through during the Black Friday Weekend Sales.

I’ve been doing it again, shopping. But, hear me out will you! I’ve been back scouring the charity shops and came a cropper and became a proud owner of another 100% suede jacket that was originally from M&S. I paid £10 for the privilege but I can fast see this becoming on my staple jackets. However, the colour of it is a little difficult to pair up so I’m going to have to be a little careful when putting an outfit together that involves it.
