Jumper Topshop | Roll Neck New Look | Jeans Topshop | Belt New Look | Shoes Dorothy Perkins

This whole outfit is made up of hand me downs. I bet you thought you’d never read that on a fashion/style blog did you? Normally it’s big sisters who have to hide their clothes in fear of their younger siblings stealing them from you, but in our family it’s the other way round. Lucky for me though, my sister get’s bored of her clothes pretty quickly and every time we visit one another she has another big bag full ready for me to rummage through. It’s a win win situation for me!

HOW TO SAVE FOR YOUR TRAVEL PLANS

I spend many an hour trawling various holiday sites. I want to visit every last corner of the earth. I feel that travelling is the most empowering and most educating thing you could ever do, otherwise you aren’t open to new foods, cultures & lifestyles. It breaks my heart that some people refuse to leave England or worse still, expect all the comforts of home as soon as they set foot on foreign soil. Of course, travelling costs a lot of money. The time old quote of ”If travelling were free, you’d never see me again” rings many bells. I manage between 2-3 holidays a year, I’m on an okay-wage and own my own house and often people ask us how to save for your travel plans  (and how the heck we can afford to go on so many holidays) so I’m hoping my tips can help you travel on your holiday of a lifetime and make your dreams come a reality.

    When I Grow Up #WEChildhoodDream | QueenBeady

    QueenBeady Workwear Express

Ever since I was a little girl I knew I wanted to write. Whether that be penning my own novel or casting my editorial eyes over the latest fashion magazine? It’s something that I’ve always been passionate about, you’d catch me making my own magazine’s as a little girl, using my set of Crayola’s and my latest notepad to create my imaginary editorial. I’d play Agony Aunt for the letters page, create my own short story, I’d even create my own mood board of things you should be buying. This was at a ripe age of six or seven. There wasn’t a week that went by that I didn’t pick up my issue of Girl Talk for inspiration (you know the one I mean!) When Workwear Express got in touch with me and asked ”what did I want to be when I grow up?” as part of the #WEChildhoodDream campaign, I knew the answer was easy because my love for the topic has always been apparent through my life.

    Double Denim ASOS
Suede Coat Mango | Denim Shirt ASOS | Jeans Armani | Shoes Dorothy Perkins

Yes, I’ve been living under a rock for the last year. I’ve never picked up on the double denim craze, but when I saw that ASOS had this lovely denim shirt in the sale it was pretty hard to resist. I never really thought it would work on a more curvier girl like myself, and whilst I’ll not look like the models on the runway or in the Levis campaigns I thought I dug it pretty well. You see, it falls back in to that 70’s style category that I seem to love so much. My wardrobe is 95% filled with suede, cord and those brown/red colours at the moment. I just don’t seem to be able to move from the style & it’s proven that it’s to stay a while longer with this gracing every high street shop for the last year or so.

Je’Taime Beacoup Sunday (or should I have said Dimanche, if we’re really pushing the boat out?) I like Sunday’s. No in fact, I’d go as far as saying I love Sunday’s. It’s the day of rest & it’s the perfect opportunity for being lazy and over indulging in doing whatever the heck you like. We’d had a pretty easy-going Sunday morning just passed, drinking tea in bed & trying to find our next trip on the laptop that it soon reached noon & with the rest of the day ahead we decided it was time for some fresh air & to stretch our little dogs legs!
