12 Reasons Why I’ll Never Be That Perfect Blogger | QueenBeady

It’s time for one of those posts, one that’s to be taken with a pinch of salt, because quite frankly I love a good ol’ laugh (at myself mainly.) I noticed some comments recently on a blogging thread about how people are now steering away from the super glam bloggers to those that are a little more relate-able. Aint nobody got time (or money) for a YSL handbag and jetting off to far-flung destinations every week. For me, reading blogs that are more “down to earth” that have nice (not excessive) things on their blog make me come back more and more. As much as I would vie to be one of those bloggers who constantly struts around in a bikini 89.76% of the year whilst being wined & dined by big brands I just know that that will never be me, so here’s reasons why I’ll never be that perfect Blogger…

I’m in a really good place at the moment, as I mentioned in a earlier postI thought it was a good time as ever to grab the bull by the horns and really get back on track with my health and fitness regime. Both physically and mentally. I find that when I’m feeling really positive it spurs me on to be more mindful and look after myself that bit extra – there is no time like the present to kick some balls. Here’s how I’m keeping healthy both body & mind!

I’m not try’na sav that everybody wants to go. I fell in love at the seaside, the seaside.

Oh, the Seaside. One of my favourite places to be. The sights of the blue ocean, the sounds of waves lapping against the shore and the seagulls squarking, to the smells of fish and chips and the real proper doughnuts you can get. There is nothing quite like it and wish I could be nearer to the coast (or alternatively another beach destination? I’m not fussy, Kefalonia, Italy, I’ll take it.) So when we took an impromptu trip to the Yorkshire Coast a couple of Saturday’s ago I was a giddy, little kipper.

Everyone knows that life can start to get in the way. I know I have been living life at a fast pace recently and it’s hard to know when to stop. It take it’s toll on your body and when I start getting ulcer upon ulcer on my tongue I know I need a bit of a time-out. There’s a few things that I have been adding in to my daily routine recently. For many of you, like myself, social media and keeping up to date with it is a massive part of society now. I never have my phone more than a metre away from me, which is pretty sad and not only that; it’s exhausting. I’ve been trying to figure out ways that my body can relax without technology getting in the way.

It’s time for one of those chatty little posts where I really ramble. A bit of “word vomit” if you may. So grab a cuppa like me and get settled. It’s been a while since I sat down & thought “Wow, my life is pretty sweet.” It’s a sorry state of affairs when you start to forget to appreciate the good things in life and quite simply it can really wear you down. I’m notoriously terrible in January and February. I think there is a little bit of Seasonal Affective Disorder in us all. When the dark night’s start appearing you still have Halloween, Bonfire Night & Christmas to look forward to. Once January hits it’s a little bit gloomy for me. But now, now I’ve had my holiday to Madeira and the nights are getting lighter I feel a million times better.
