    My mission for 2019 was to say yes to things that scare me. As you may have seen on my Instagram Stories I’m working with #MoveGB as a Brand Ambassador which meant I could start saying those “yes’” immediately in January. You see, this awesome gym membership doesn’t just include your traditional gyms, each plan is pretty unique, and extremely flexible – it doesn’t just get you access to one gym, but in fact to thousands of different venues that offer some sort of exercise or sports programme which is the beauty of it. We love the outdoors so we decided to give Rock Climbing a whirl with our first use of the MoveGB membership! We are absolute novices so wanted to impart some of my first-time knowledge with anyone who might be thinking of taking up Rock Climbing as a hobby.     I really do love being outdoors and getting out and about to stretch the ol’ legs. We started taking our dog on walks that are a little bit further afield than on our doorstep. It means we get to see scenery that we don’t normally see on our usual routes, all the while we get some fresh air and our little doggo gets to have a whale of a time in the process. It is so nice to explore our beloved Yorkshire in depth this way. So, grab your walking boots and jackets because I’ve got three great dog walks that are in and around Yorkshire for you to try…

    Hands up if you love nothing more than a bacon sandwich for breakfast? I know I’m guilty of it. I’m always looking for healthier ways to start the day (ahem, belgian hot chocolates do not count just because they are “liquid”) So when Good Grain wanted to challenge me to a 5 ways, 5 days challenge of creating different breakfasts with their puffed rice & wheat cereals I was more than up for the #Grainspiration challenge. Using some of their own ideas and incorporating some of mine, my week long challenge was about to begin…

    I’m in a really good place at the moment, as I mentioned in a earlier postI thought it was a good time as ever to grab the bull by the horns and really get back on track with my health and fitness regime. Both physically and mentally. I find that when I’m feeling really positive it spurs me on to be more mindful and look after myself that bit extra – there is no time like the present to kick some balls.
