ROCKING OUT AT DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL PARIS WITH FESTICKET | QUEENBEADY

We’ve just returned from an epic trip to France where we took in Paris, Disneyland and the South of France! But, the main reason for our 10 day trip was to head to Download Festival in Paris. With Mr C turning 30 this year, it only seemed right to humour his wish to head to the festival that was being headlined by two of his favourite rock artists. You will be familiar with the UK version that’s hosted at Donnington Park every year, however, it’s now headed over to France for the festival season and it’s every inch of what you want a festival experience to be. Here’s how we spent two days rocking out at Download Festival Paris with Festicket.

If you’re currently lugging a huge rucksack on your back, with a make shift trolley made of a winter sledge with ten packs of Strongbow fruit cider piled high with one in hand (obviously), wading through a mud filled field then the chances are 99% that you are on your way to Leeds Festival. If you’re a festi-newbie or a hardcore veteran, you will always learn these very few and very certain things at Bramham Parks very own, Leeds Festival…

MY LEEDS FESTIVAL PLAYLIST WITH PANASONIC ALL05* | QUEENBEADY

Okay, if you read this blog or follow me on social media you will know that I am rather in to my festivals. There’s something so freeing about having a cider in one hand, festival glitter all over my face and an earful of really amazing, loud music. We only live a 5 minute drive away from my beloved Leeds Festival so it’s guaranteed that our yearly visit always happens. Not only do I love the experience when I’m there, I love to get hyped by creating playlists of those bands  I adore already and new finds that I can’t wait to hear for the first time live. The guys at Panasonic* sent me their latest, wireless speaker – the ALL05to get me in the mood even more. My Spotify playlists have been off the hook as of late!

I am an absolute die-hard festival fan. I love the atmosphere they bring, everyone is pumped up on energy to see their favourite bands so they can sing and dance along. The fruit ciders are casually flowing and everyone is generally having an all-round good time. I’d seen the line up for Tramlines Festival included one of our all time favourite bands, the Libertines and I was dying to see them again after we saw them live at Leeds Festival back in 2015. Luckily, my prayers were answered when I was invited by Festicket to be one of their #FesticketInsiders.

After we land back from Ibiza next month, six days later we get to head to our first festival, Tramlines, for 2017 as a Festicket Insider. And boy, I can’t bloody wait! Mainly because we get to see one of our fave bands of all time back up on stage again (which for many years it was questionable whether or not we’d ever see them live.) And now we will get to see them for the second time since our little mini heart attack on the matter. Tramlines Festival visits Sheffield for the eighth year and keeps getting bigger and better. In 2011 the Festival won ‘Best Metropolitan Festival’ at the UK Festival Awards, so I’m even more excited to visit this award-winning festival and experience the music! There’s 5 bands that I’m super excited to see…
