Okay. I’m gonna say it right now. I feel bad-ass when I wear this outfit. It’s the perfect mixture of feminine meets Boss Woman ready to come at ya. I really love the femininity of the lace detailing on my Victorian style, high neck top from Closet, (I also think it would look super cute under a pinafore or slip dress) which compliments the structure of both the long lined blazer and Radley bag, respectively. When I’m in work mode, I wanna feel encouraged by what I am wearing too (yes, how superficial of me?) But what is it they say?

“Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world.”

Well, that is how I feel by a well, put together, babing outfit.

Firstly, merry Christmas. I hope the big man in a red suit brought you everything your hearts desired. I’m still feeling in the giving mood today so stay with me here.

With another year under my belt with this little blog, there have been many photos posted on here and on Instagram. But, let’s face it, you only see the best of the best (well, the best of a bad bunch) because I want you to see everything in a not-so disgusting light. So when I am eventually being normal you get to see that side of me. I thought it would be HI-larious of me to share some outtakes of the year. To be honest, you see a real serious side of me in my blog posts but truth be told, I’m never happier than sounding/looking like an idiot, making jokes and generally just having a LOL a minute at myself. So, let’s have a good ol’ laugh at my expense, seeing as it’s the season of goodwill and all that.

If I’m sat upright on a sofa, watching TV, you can bet your bottom dollar that I will fall asleep at the most ridiculous times of day. And I can also put a huge wager on the fact that if I get in to bed to go to sleep at night, I will lay they for quite some time, tossing and turning until I manage to actually fall asleep. It’s what we call  on this day and age, “sods law.” My life pretty much consists of ironic things like this each day. LOL for me.

Gosh, I really do seem to be very up and down on my blog as of late. I’m finally getting to a really good place in life. My relationship just feels so wonderful at the moment, work is going really well and my mental health is on the incline after finally accepting and getting help. Despite all of the above I’ve been ever so quiet on Twitter and Instagram recently. It’s been really nice just living in the now and not having to work to too many deadlines or feeling like I need to be connected to world wide web all the time.

In today’s post I’m referring to the small successes we are greeted with in life. Of course, big events can comes with an amazing sense of achievement but there is also something quite euphoric about the small glories we make throughout our life. For me there have been many moments like this. People could look at them and think nothing of it, “what on earth could you feel ecstatic about that for?” – you know the one’s, resigned to doom and gloom. I adore championing people when they’ve accomplished something they are particularly proud of, big or small. I also feel it should be something that others try and take on board, too. Wouldn’t the world be a nicer place if we all did this from time to time?
