    Is it just me, but when you put on a killer pair of heeled boots, a long line coat, a little clutch you suddenly feel ALL THE SASS?! Just me? Either way this outfit was a sure-fire hit to make me feel really good about myself. And hello Mulberry clutch. This was gifted to me by my boss and you should have seen my little face when she handed it over to me. My eyes almost had to fight back the tiny puddles of water that were forming in my tearducts.     Nothing quite says “I’m with the Band” than an actual band tee. Although, the circumstances why I have become the proud owner of one of Ella Eyre’s band tee’s is a sad one. A couple of weeks ago I found out that I had won a meet & greet with Ella Eyre herself and tickets to her gig too. There was a catch, it was 72 hours later on a weekday, in the middle of London. Of course panic stricken, I had personal obligations that I needed to tend to and work commitments forcing me to have to decline the offer. Sad emoji face.

    I know winter should be made up of big coats and trusty boots but on the milder days it’s okay to bring out the light jackets and loafers. Each day the elements change and it’s difficult to prepare for what the weather might be like. I always keep a light jacket at hand because as I write this, it’s pretty warm and I don’t need my big, fluffy boyfriend coat at all. I went for another double denim combo this time, but instead of going for similar coloured denim, I mixed black and blue and was pretty happy with the outcome.

    I’m currently working on my blog on a Saturday morning and trying to keep the channels off the news. It’s not that I’m not interested in the painful Paris attack, far from it, I just can’t cope with all the pain and atrocities that seem to be happening all too frequent recently. Even the whiny-voiced characters on the Simpsons is more soothing. What is typically a French inspired outfit I wore the other day, it’s hard not to address and touch slightly on the delicate matter of those who lost their lives in such a horrendous way on Saturday night. I guess I feel like writing about style or fashion is my way of sheltering myself from this awful world we live in. But I know deep in my heart, I’m thinking of you. I’m thinking of you all.
