If there’s two passions in my life, it’s fashion and travel. Combine the two and imagine the element I would be in. Well, that happened. Yes it did. Can you see my little face sat behind this laptop now? Yes, I’m grinning like a Cheshire Cat. Mid September I collab’ed with Virgin Trains East Coast  and Pretty Little Thing to find the “most stylist traveller” at Leeds Train Station. Boy, was it exciting. Virgin East Coast offer a wide range of UK destinations on their train journey’s and the prices are pretty phenomenal too. I’m already planning a trip to Edinburgh or London to take advantage of their direct routes from Leeds.

Some of you may (or may not!) know that I like a holiday (or ten!) a year. I’ve always been obsessed with Travel since I was a little girl but my lust grew for it when I became a Travel Agent, ten years ago (dear God, help me, how was that ten years ago?) I’ve just returned from the Dominican Republic with Ice Lolly and it was one of those holiday spent solely on the beach, because quite frankly, it was time for us to chill out and that is exactly what we did.  But a holiday like this requires a carefully prepared beach bag with all the essentials.

WHEN DID I BECOME SO CYNICAL | QUEENBEADY

When did I become so cynical? Is it my age? Is there something wrong with me? Is it because I’ve encountered too many pricks for one lifetime? (Ps. Dontcha just love the expressive cacti photo to work alongside this intro?)

Truth be told, I’ve always had a little guard up. I never expect too much of people, (this probably stems back to my absent sperm-donor of a father that waltzed in and out of my early teen years – thanks, ya big ol’ twat!) but really, I’ve almost started to expect the worst in everything. Be it in a persons actions or behaviour or just general day to day life. It’s the most bizarre thing. “I’m going to get the sack!” or “Why did so & so do what they did, it’s so inconsiderate?” are just a few examples over the last few weeks my brain has decided throw at me.

October is a magical month I feel. You get the joy from the cosiness without it being dark when you leave and return from work which is a wonder in itself. I need to enjoy what this month brings before we are plunged in to darkness with the winter months. Oh & did I mention I’m an October baby? Just one more reason to love this beautiful month of the year. There’s so many reasons to love October.

    THINGS I LEARNT FROM #JPRBLOGGERSBRUNCH | QUEENBEADY

Oh gosh, it’s been well over two months since the Jaywing PR Bloggers Brunch. Back in July, we were invited to a super yummy brunch and a talk with some experts on SEO, working with Brands and how to make your blog a success. The latter being presented by Hannah Gale, you know, one of the top Blogging sensations in the UK right now. Sat back, sipping quite a few proseccos and stuffing myself till I felt morbidly obese with the pancakes I realised that there are so many things I can be doing as a Blogger to be / get better at my hobby.
