Firstly I feel I should say: I FRIGGING LOVE CHRISTMAS. But, I figured you already guessed that by now! There’s not enough hours in the day to watch Christmas Films, drink mulled wine and endlessly decorate the house in all it’s merry glory! Oh no, I’m not done with the Christmas themed content just yet, you will have to deal with me a little bit longer on that front. (I know you’ll be more than glad when it’s been and gone I’m sure!) However, for those who still haven’t accepted that Christmas is little over a week away, some of you may be panicking what to buy for someone you love. Sometimes I have mini heart palpitations, worrying that someone might not like the presents I’ve bought them or that they hate it so much that they’ll throw it across the room in horror. Okay, a little bit overboard I know? I was surprised to find that the cheapest item is only £2 and they are the scrumptious Hotel Chocolat christmas cracker and at the other end of the scale you have a £55 bottle of Dolce and Gabbana for men. So there really is something for everyone.

When my parcel arrived complete with the gifts I had chosen I was pleasantly surprised with the cute packaging it came in, so it’s perfect for those that find wrapping presents a little bit of a chore at this time of year. BuildMyGift.com do all the hard work for you. Complete with a cute little ribbon and gift tag for you let them know who the present is from. You also get the opportunity to add a little card inside the hamper with a pre-written note. There is no smugger feeling than handing over a beautifully wrapped present, sometimes more so than for the actual present inside it!

I had the task of putting a gift box together for under £30 and I managed to fill it with this gorgeous, Rosanna “Wifey” mug – a foolproof gift for any newlywed out there that’s bound to go down a treat and despite being married for 3 and half years, the term still never loses its appeal. It’s delicate and gold. And perfect for the instagram feed!

It also appears that I found myself heading in to a bit of chocolate-themed gift box. Complete with a slab of Hotel Chocolat chocolate and some Whittards Hot Chocolate (come on please tell me that Hot Chocolate with Bailey’s isn’t a good idea at this time of year!) it came to a round total of £20.50. I couldn’t quite believe for such a small sum I’d managed to put together a gorgeous box of gifts with zero fuss (who hates the Christmas queues at the time of year? Can I get an AMEN!)

    This packaging just makes me happy! I know packaging is just appearances but I think it makes such a big difference and in the end, if it makes you happy, it’s worth it! 🙂 I would totally go for a chocolate-themed box too, I mean, OF COURSE. Especially that slab of white and milk chocolate, that looks sooo good. Great gift idea! Happy holidays <3
