BLUE AND WHITE

If there’s one trend that is prominent for Summer ’16 is the hues of blue and crisp white. Reminiscent of the sunnier climates of Greece and their dome buildings, this trend is something that is quite clearly here to stay. I for one, am loving this season, it’s made me remove myself from my (not so) everlasting love with the colour black. It’s time to bring back a little bit of colour in to our lives and this is clearly the way to do it.

With trends you find you just have to ride it out, but with this one I wanna ride the rollercoaster ten times, puke up, eat some candyfloss and go on it another ten times. I. LOVE. IT. It’s a trend that I haven’t rolled my eyes back out loud to, (just yet!) it’s pretty, it’s feminine and can be enjoyed through my love of denim. Or even the off the shoulder tops to the classic Breton tee (that you know I oh-so love!) paired with some super cute ankle length chinos or cullotes (if you are feeling daring!)

Of course, if you are heading to the isle of Santorini, you’ll blend in the with the buildings, if you fly to France you’ll look like a local. There is nowhere on this planet that the blue and white theme cannot be applied to. So simple and it makes packing for my next trip that little bit easier because everything matches. I guess I’m the one laughing now #LOLZ!

    Every year I love the fact that summer is the sign to get a little bit nautical. It’s one of my favourite seasonal trends and I’m so happy it’s back. Blue and white is such a pretty combination. And I’m so loving that little blue dress, it’s adorable!

    I always surprise myself with posts like these, as my favourite thing is something i would NEVER usually wear! OH MY GOSH THAT LITTLE BLUE DRESS. Blue may be the new black… :O

    Oh I so want all of these! I’m both enjoying still wearing summer clothes and looking forward to AW, because i get the nice Autumn season at home then I’m heading over to Arizona for a hot Christmas so will be cracking the summer stuff back out again!
