Light Jackets and Loafers | QueenBeady

I know winter should be made up of big coats and trusty boots but on the milder days it’s okay to bring out the light jackets and loafers. Each day the elements change and it’s difficult to prepare for what the weather might be like. I always keep a light jacket at hand because as I write this, it’s pretty warm and I don’t need my big, fluffy boyfriend coat at all. I went for another double denim combo this time, but instead of going for similar coloured denim, I mixed black and blue and was pretty happy with the outcome.

SUEDE JACKET AND DENIM

When I originally bought this shirt I wanted it to be fitted, so went with my normal sizing on ASOS – but to my amazement it was pretty baggy. Because I’m terribly lazy I just couldn’t be bothered to resend it back so I just put up and shut up, to be honest it’s quite nice to be able to move around quite freely in it because denim can be so claustrophobic at the best of times. But I have been layering up just in case it is a little chilly.

My gorgeous loafers have made yet another appearance. They are without a doubt the most wonderful pair of flats I own at the moment, they croc leather detail on them just makes even sassier (yes I just dropped the ”S Bomb”)

I’ve swapped from my usual big shopper bag, back to my italian leather quilted bag that I bought in Sorrento on our honeymoon last year. The leather is so soft and is aging perfectly. It reminds me of the vintage Chanel bag & it probably feels just as good as one. It pretty much goes everywhere with me as it’s just so easy to sling over my shoulder when I’m out and about.

You’ll have probably noticed that I have been playing around with the ”depth of field” on this post. I use a free piece of software called Fotor and it’s a great tool for photo editing, I’ve been dying to see what my photos look like with everything blurry around me – I’m not sure what I think. So please let me know in the comments below.

I loooove those loafers! I never made the jump to purchase a chambray shirt because I was unsure how I would ever wear it without looking like a denim tuxedo but the black jeans look on point! Love it.
