Black Friday #LittleBlackBox | QueenBeady

TNT Black Friday

I don’t know about you, but when the words ”Black Friday” appear I get super excited. I’m not one of those crazy-ass people who dives in to the stores and piles myself on top of someone till they let go of a 50 inch TV kinda Black Friday lover. I’m one that get’s my PJ’s on, a nice cup of tea, laptop turned on to some of the more luxurious websites and proceed to click buy on everything that I usually wouldn’t be able to afford.  TNT Direct sent me a #LittleBlackBox to get in the mood for this yearly event! Christmas will be well and truly sorted in our house thanks to this little bargain weekend event.

Black Friday Box

Now TNT wants to know what my favourite black items are & I had a real long, hard think about it and pretty much everything you could possibly think of is of course, amazing in black. My first thoughts were, a classic pair of black Chelsea Boots like the one in my post here! Nothing says classy like a good pair of heels and it’s one way to conquer the world indeed. Even a pair of classic pointed stilettos get me all excited too!

Black Barry M

Barry M Black

Then I dug deeper to decide what else I could possibly love in a deeper shade of black and it would have to be black nail polish, just like the bottle of Barry M that came in my care package. I love a dark nail and a beautician once told me that if you have shorter nails that going black or any dark colour would give the illusion of longer nails. I was sold, so give me all the black polish you can find please.

Black Friday Sales

Now here’s one that’s taken a while for my husband to convince me of, wait for it, black coffee. Some people can’t so much as function if they haven’t had their daily dose of the strong stuff. If I have a black coffee it has to a be a really good, smooth blend. I can’t be doing with a bitter taste in my mouth which is why I think it is an acquired taste, one I’m slowly coming round to.

I’m a sucker for dark chocolate, which I guess is my forth love of all things black (sorta!) I could chow down on a family size portion of Bourneville without question. It’s also a good job that it’s less calorific than milk chocolate. But, the best quality chocolate out there has a much higher cocoa content from what I learnt at Hotel Chocolat’s taster evening which is probably why it’s my favourite.

FLATLAY

Last but not least, I couldn’t leave my little blog out could I. My one true love in life (except for my hubs of course!) the theme of my blog is predominantly Black and White! And hey, how can I not give my little blog some self-love on this post?

Are you looking forward to the Black Friday sales at the end of the week – do you have your eyes on anything in particular! I’d love to hear about your bargain finds in the comments below.

I still don’t ‘get’ black coffee – it’s the only way my boyfriend drinks it and even the smell is so intense I stay clear! When it comes to clothes though, the blacker the better! I can’t resist black skinny jeans and a good pair of black Chelsea boots.

I’m hoping to pull together a list of Christmas presents between now and Friday and seeing what I can snap up for people in the Black Friday sales online. Thankfully a couple of the boys in my life want electrical stuff, so hoping that I can bag these at cut prices before the weekend!

      Hey Charlene,

It takes A LOT of getting used to. It’s the way my hubs has it now? I can stomach it if it’s good coffee, like when we were in Budapest it was so delicious, some places, not so much!

You can’t go wrong with a pair of skinnies and a pair of boots – ultimate combo!

Yes, such a good idea about Black Friday. I need to get my head down and get lots ordered. Always hold out for Black Friday just to even save a couple of £’s – it is worth it!

I’m exactly the same as you – I cannot be dealing with diving into mounds of people for a bargain when I can do it of the comfort of my home! What a lovely little pack you were sent too! I never knew about black nail varnish making your nails look longer – will have to try this!

Isn’t it just the worst – I mean some of the videos that showed people going absolutely crazy, barging people out the way and fighting over things is so trashy. Just pop your laptop on, so much easier!

Yes – I didn’t realise it too, but since I found that out I’ve actually noticed it a lot more! Ha!

I LOVE me a cuppa black coffee in the morning. I put milk in it later in the day, but the first cups gotta be strong and black. I’ve never gone for black nail polish, I usually only go as dark as navy blue, but I’m into the idea that it makes my nails look longer! Hope you get some good bargains on Friday!

Haha, it’s the only way to face the day?

Yes, it’s such a good idea. I had mine done tonight in a dark colour and it so does work!

I can’t wait. I have my eye on a coat so I’m hoping I can snag that with some sort of discount along with Xmas presents!
