As soon as I saw colour blocking I knew that this needed to be the angle I would take. As someone you likes to play with bright colours I thought it was an opportune outfit to create. Mixing the burnt orange with the cool grey it really popped. I like that. Who doesn’t like ”a pop of colour” to look vibrant? Because of the two contrasting colours I really loved that it could be worn all through the year, it didn’t fall in to any specific season & that’s what I love about fashion, when it’s transitional.
But most of all I think this would be the perfect outfit for exploring Paris I feel in the early Spring. Sitting in a quaint little café, watching the world go by as you sip a tantalising mocha latte in the light haze of the day (goodness I don’t think those shoes would be made for pounding the streets sightseeing though, so cafe’s all day it will be.) It is somewhere I would love to explore even more so, getting lost in the back streets, climbing the Eiffel Tower (wearing slightly different shoes of course!) and spending plenty of euros in all the unique, boutique stores. I can almost imagine being there right now. You can vote for my look here!
For the time being though I have another City Break to look forward to, Amsterdam. Our most favourite city in the world. In December it is magical and the thought of going back is making me all giddy. It’s truly one of the happiest, most wonderful places on earth. I’ll be spending my money on chocolate covered pancakes and hot chocolates in my favourite cafe. But also I’ll be saving some money on a Travelex Cash Passport to make sure my money is safe yet accessible at all times, especially if I want to go shopping and spend a large amount of money.
Remember you can vote for my look here! Have you any city breaks coming up? I’d love to hear your hints and tips and the next place I should try visit!
Sometimes you just need that jazzy get up! I love how the miter grey blue makes it pop even more. I too love summer – I mean autumns cute & cosy but I can’t cope with the dark nights! Haha!
