#LetsGlow with Ladbrokes Bingo | QueenBeady

When you are invited to a super secret VIP blogging event that entails a hand delivered invitation you know that you are in for a good do. So when the black envelope arrived with a glow in the dark light contraption and blank piece of paper (yes, it soon dawned on me that I had to use that contraption to find out all the invite clues!) We were in fact, invited to #LetsGlow with Ladbrokes Bingo event! You heard me, it was time to play bingo, glow in the dark style.

I’ve occasionally headed to Bingo with a friend when I’ve not had much to do, my luck didn’t seem to be what it is now back then so I think the total times I went equated to about 3. This was going to be different though, I was going to see all my blogging friends and get to play Bingo in one of the coolest ways possible (oh & eat pizza, am I right?) The venue was Belgrave Music Hall, Leeds and quite frankly it’s one of the trendiest places to be seen in the city centre now.  Our private room was decked out in all the neon & glow in the dark items you could imagine! With a resident DJ playing the tunes & everyone with a drink in hand the night was a strong 10 out of 10.

Once everyone arrived we headed to the ”Bingo Hall” where we had a good few rounds of getting a line or full house. The jammy little git I am, only went and won a Betty’s Hamper (to die for!) and a Lush ”Sunny Side” bubble bar too! Of course, there is now a running joke with all the Yorkshire Bloggers that I am not allowed, under strict circumstances, to win anything else at an event again. Surely, my luck is going to run out soon? I was obviously gracious in my win, of course?!

There were some fab prizes to be won, from Pandora, an Olivia Burton Watch and plenty of Soap & Glory goodies. Running alongside the event was an Instagram contest to win a Fujifilm Instax Camera & the lovely Ellie from Ellie-Kate.com won, the next day we got to see some of the snaps from her trip to Blackpool Pleasure Beach and they came out really well. It seems I need to get my pesky paws on one very soon! They are so compact & cute!

I say this every time, but the one great thing about blogging events is that you get to catch up with all your friends. That’s one of the most valuable things I have got from blogging and to be able to meet up in these really fun circumstances makes it all worthwhile. I had to leave a little earlier and had to do a mass round of hugs before I left (obviously!) some may have loved the snuggle time, others were probably downright scared, but nevertheless, they were getting a hug whether they liked it or not! With a large Betty’s hamper in tow, it was time to surprise the husband and needless to say he was pretty stoked when I arrived home with it. It’s been demolished already and you can see some of the goodies we got over on my Instagram page .
