You know it, I know it. I’m a self-confessed stripe whore, a horizontal line addict. I just can’t get enough. If I see stripes, I need it. I don’t know what it is, or why? But it’s a pattern that just has me hanging off it’s every word. I love this dress, you will have before seen it moons ago when I styled it completely differently, here. I hope to god since then (in that small space of time) that my blog has grown wings and completely revamped itself, even if it’s just a bit.

I wanted to get this dress back on and do it ten times more the justice, because it’s a dress that deserves it. It’s versatile. You see, it’s fail safe. One of those dresses that when you open a wardrobe on a bad day, this beams back at you saying, ”Don’t worry, I got ya back, put me on because I can do the job right!” Is it just me that has imaginary conversations with clothes? Stripes will always be my go-to. They are chic, sophisticated – I feel like Audrey Tatou when I walk down the street in them, you know that classic charm! I say wear your stripes with pride!
I wanted to vamp it up this time with Chelsea boots, my favourite pair from F&F Clothing, I love the brown heel on it too. They just look pretty rad and oh-so perfect all year round and a steal for only £10! This over the shoulder bag from Topshop is so easy to throw over the shoulder and head out to run errands or meet you friends for coffee. I can see a very mono chrome look going on here!
People will probably get VERY bored of seeing the same sort of outfits on this blog, but I’ve realised I don’t need to change it up too much. My blog is about my personal style. Not just some items of clothing I’ve been sent as a freebie – a more natural and normal look is what people want to see. I’m not saying samples won’t appear on the blog, but if they do they will be more my style! I want you to look at my blog and think, ”hey, I could wear that easily.” I want you to feel like you’re looking at friend for inspiration! I’m not someone who is dolled up all the time, so you will get the raw deal with me. I hope you enjoy the direction my blog of personal style is going because I am extremely excited!
