When the sales arrive it is like all my Christmas’ come at once. I’m like a kid in a candy shop. You can almost guarantee that I will have Mango, Zara, New Look and the rest all lined up in tabs on my internet browser. I just can’t help myself at all. Not one little ounce. But, there was something that I was desperately needing in my life and that was (ahem another ahem) black shopper bag. One that could easily be swung over the shoulder, when funnily enough I would be shopping. I found the perfect shopper bag!

And, what a wonderful bag I did manage to get my hands on? This would have been £49.99 full price, which if you ask me is a little steep, but I managed to bag it (excuse the pun) for a measly £19.99 – that’s more than 50% off the original price. Keep an eye on the MVC Mango page here for any discounts or sales they are currently running. I love a bargain & this certainly was one. It is however the perfect size, not too small and not too big. An extra pocket too.
I wore this gorgeous red, paisley print top that I also picked up in the Mango sale and these gorgeous cigarette pant style Joules trousers with my birks, for comfort and ease of course, as we spent a day with our family and our adorable niece. It was simple and easy, especially when you are being run round in circles by a 3-year-old.
The weather is so ridiculously hot one moment and then thunderstorms the next, so I need something that can accommodate the inclement weather at the moment. You never know whether you are coming or going? It is so hard to rock it when one second you are sweating and the next you are trying to not to get hit by lightning. Am I right? I do hope everyone is enjoying the weather when it is good, it’s so rare to have such a long spout of wonderful weather so it is really nice to sit back, relax and eat an ice cream down by the river every once in a while.
Alongside this hot weather I have been absent the last week or so because I have just not had the want to sit behind the laptop when I’ve finished work, but during another thunder & lightning storm I have plucked up the courage to start writing again today.
