If I could put in to words how much I love this outfit I’d be writing a sonnet or proclaiming my love in some linguistic prose that was completely off the wall. But, I’m just going to say that I am madly, deeply in love with this folksy print top, that’s reminiscent of the tops you find hanging from market stalls down windy, hilltop Greek streets. Paired with my brand new A-line, button down skirt and these sandals from Daniel Footwear, I practically live in these slip on sliders because they are so comfy & they also have really great support because they are moulded to the shape of foot. All of this together creates a real 70’s vibe too which I am loving! I have to stop myself from reaching for this outfit every time I open my wardrobe!

My sister is behind the camera for these shots & I think she’s captured the outfit so well with the beautiful shadows that were falling with the early evening sky. It set the scene so perfectly. We had the pleasure of visiting Lambert’s Yard where we took these wonderful photos for the blog. We were there for the Bon Marche event, where I was walking the catwalk for their AW15 range, which you’ll hear more about next week. I thought it was the perfect setting, it had a real loft feel to it that I couldn’t pass up the chance to photograph this beautiful outfit in such a cool place.
Lambert’s Yard is described as an independent concept store that actually started out a pop up store to give local businesses to showcase their designs, from fashion to home decor. It fast became a hot spot in Leeds & has since become a permanent fixture in the urban metropolis of Leeds. It was the best spot for capturing my favourite outfit of the moment.
I’ve been dying to get my hands on a denim skirt for this hot, abnormal summer we seem to be having here in the UK too! I’m normally more of a flowy, midi skirt kind of girl but I finally took the plunge to show a bit of leg. Now let’s just get those pasty whites nicely tanned to complete the look. Mexico here we come in September!
