Okay, so let me start off by saying that I obviously had far too much fun to properly ”pose” for these photos. Ya’ see, I don’t think it has to be so serious all the time. It’s time to smile and rejoice at the good things in life. Laugh so hard that it hurts. Run away with the moments that make you care-free. That’s kinda what this dress wants you to do. It’s playful and so easy to enjoy. Simple but with delicate crochet giving it a slightly different texture. Let’s get this straight, this dress might not be the chicest outfit in my wardrobe, but hey, who says I’m trying to be classy. It might not hug my ever growing curves (goddam you hips and thighs!) but instead this is a dress that can be enjoyed whilst dancing at a festival, on the beach with sand in your toes, to be rolled around in the grass in. Endless possibilities that make the most charming memories. That’s the type of dress that I like & want to wear.

Life is so fast paced these days, working hard and long hours whilst trying to keep on top of housework and taking our dog, Skye, for long summer walks. It can all become a little chaotic in a subtle way without you even realising it. In an almighty crescendo, my tongue came out in a lot of ulcers so I’m working hard at trying to keep calm and take it steady so they don’t rear their ugly heads again. Tonight as I write this it’s the first night in a long while that I’ve had to myself to just indulge in guilty pleasures such as Made in Chelsea and writing more of my feelings down in a post. It feels kinda good to just be in my PJ’s doing exactly what I want.  The little things like this are what we take for granted in life and I’m determined to sneak a few more of these moments in when I can.

I’ve noticed that every time I put something remotely 70’s style, such as this post here, I start to look all ”pagan” like. I can assure you that it is not my intention to look like a witch every time I wear lace or crochet, or even this fedora hat but yet, it just seems to happen for some reason. But truth be told, I kind of like that slightly edgy look. My fail-safe boots are from Barratt’s, they are a go-to heeled boot that you know you can rely on. A boot that doesn’t let you down or make your tootsies hurt. That’s a boot that every girl should have in her life. Combined with this Rare London dress it’s a match that has been made in heaven, so ironic, right?

With the longer nights & warmer days my winter wardrobe is slowly starting to get packed away. It’s time to dust off those denim shorts and unload the floaty summer dresses because summer is most definitely starting to appear, albeit, a little later than we might like.

Have you still got your winter wardrobe out just in case or have you embraced summer and are already dreaming about what you can pair with your cute sandals?

Love your posing – it makes a nice change seeing a blogger look happy and like they’re having fun 😀 The hat is so lovely too – I bought a similar black one a while ago but haven’t properly worn it yet!

aw i love this outfit! anything that’s off-the-shoulder is a win for me (though i wish i could say the same about the strapless bra that has to go along with it) x

      Hi Natasha
I feel your pain! As a big busted girl, strapless bras drive me POTTY!
      Thank you ❤️
