Sunglasses Zara | Jumper C/O Blue Vanilla | Skirt Whistles | Shoes New Look

You’ll know from previous outfit posts that I am an absolute sucker for a pleated midi skirt. For a girl that has plenty of curves I struggle to find things that fit just right. But, whenever I wear a midi I feel like I’ve found the one item of clothing that I can always rely on. There’s always something so feminine about putting on a swishy skirt. The vintage style is one I always adore.

The weather is a little hit & miss at the moment, but I’m always carrying a pair of sunglasses around just in case the sun decides to put his hat on. These Zara beauties were a firm fixture when we went to Sorrento for our honeymoon last year & it was a shame not give them another season’s wear.

I hope that I can pair this gorgeous, pale blue Whistles skirt with a cami top when it get’s a lot warmer & to make it more of an evening wear outfit. Their garments are always so well made and last forever, so elegant & chic.

Have you got a piece of clothing that you can always rely on?

      Hi Gabby,
Thank you – it is one of my favourite styles! Midi Skirts are the future! At least we have had some lovely sunshine today during the Bank Holiday, I was afraid we wouldn’t get any at all.

This looks so lovely! What a gorgeous skirt. I’m curvy too and always worry about tucking tops into skirts but you look absolutely awesome so I might bite the bullet and give it a go eek! xx

      Hi Suzy,
Well I’m glad I could inspire you to try something different. I find that my clothes don’t look right if I don’t tuck them in, hehe! Let me see a photo if you do decide to do it!

*wolf whistle* You look gorgeous, lady! Your “go to” outfit is much more ladylike and chic than mine – I can’t shake skinny jeans, a t-shirt and a leather jacket when I’m standing in front of my wardrobe and feeling uninspired.

Oh you really are making a girl blush today Charlene! Haha! Thank you very much. I just love that this outfit could be dressed up or down! The jumper is super cosy and the skirt is like something out of Cinderella. PERFECT!
