Yes, I’m smiling. It’s a little odd to see my smiling in one of my personal style photos, normally I just feel so dim-witted and the urge to feel ”cool” that smiling goes out of the window. However,  I seemed to be feeling much more daring this time & opted for a beaming white smile for you all. I’m smiling (like a buffoon) because it is officially Spring. The clocks went back during the early hours of Sunday morning, albeit we lost a sacred hour of sleep but it now means that our night’s are going to get a lot lighter.

I don’t know about you, but when we enter the Summer Solstice I start to feel more alive. I’m no longer craving a day of Netflix binging but actually want to get out in to the real world. The late night dog walks aren’t so scary, and goodness, I might be able to leave the house in just a light jacket. It’s such a simple thing but yet my mind set changes each time.  I think I’m officially out of hibernation.

With Spring comes a brand new Wardrobe and most of you will have seen the previous Capsule Wardrobe posts I have worked on with George at Asda. So of course today’s post could not be anymore fitting because I am wearing one of the prettiest, girliest skirts I have ever owned. Isn’t the florally goodness just adorable? I paired it with my slight off the shoulder top from New Look & some cute simple shoes to finish the look off. It’s a perfect outfit for a lunch date or office work when you want to make a little more effort. A great outfit for the fresher and brighter days!

Going in to Spring what are your favourite looks and styles?

Love the skirt, I would love the wear midi skirts with flats, but I am quite small so it shortens me even further! – so pretty and summery, love this look , you look lovely!

Midis definitely require heels for me too! At 5’3″ I struggle looking like a short ass sadly.
Can’t wait to get more summery now the weather has perked up!
