OOTD Shopping for my Hen Party Dress | QueenBeady

Is anyone else crushing over the new Florence & Fred Range at Tesco Clothing? I know I certainly am, so much so I tried two dresses on for my hen do. Now, when I look at these photos I really love the peach coloured dress but didn’t think it would give me much room to bust a move (which I’m pretty sure I will be doing!)

I tried on a size 12 of the Powder Blue dress (which is in the photo) but quickly decided my waist needed cinching in so I tried on the size 10 which quickly gave me more shape. I have previously declared my LOVE for this colour & it’s so easy to see why.

I love the detailing of the dress & can’t wait to wear it. I think I will pair it with these cute block shoes because the ”clompy but cute” look is everywhere at the moment! I love the V neck back as well because it is quite a conservative style dress at the front.

Now I just need to decide whether I wear it Hen do One or Hen do Two? Help me decide.

Hi, both of these dresses are lovely! The blue one will look cute with the block shoes 🙂
What are you doing for each hen, and is one for family, other for friends etc? I guess it depends on where you go but both are really nice 🙂

      Hi Rachel

The first one is a surprise with a few close friends and we are going away. Serious partying!
Then I am having a second one in May that family & other friends are coming to in York – So I need to get two dresses 🙂 (what a shame?!) Haha.

    Hello!
I actually saw these dresses in tesco today and was proper listing after them! Both of them are lovely but I’m swaying towards the blue one. Love the slight 50s look it has to it!

      Hi Emily
I saw another outfit I wanted to put together with the pencil skirt as well! I could have had everything given half the chance. I love the blue one too for that exact same reason. Plus plenty of room to dance – the other dress was a bit restrictive!

Both are lovely but the blue is really wonderful with your colouring! No big tesco near me but will hopefully get a chance for a peek at the collection soon, they’re far more interesting desigh-wise than I would have thought!

Thank you so much! I’m so happy I got the blue (but, I seem to have a lot of powder blue items at the moment. It’s my current love affair!)
I just need to find a dress for my hen do 1 now! Haha!
